I know we're already cautious about and around cops, but just a heads up and reminder that it's **DOUBLE DEMERITS** this coming weekend.

Drive safely, slow down, and all that, etc. etc.

What are people's thoughts on having Nichols start at striker?

He runs all day, knows how to find the back of the net and WILL shoot f*rken.

That should allow Vidosic to play CAM with Bridge and Romeo on the wings, as well as Pio and Golgol off the bench.

Out. Brother in laws 60th.

Probably for the best. I've now been to Gosford three times in the last 2mths. Having never been there prior to the my first visit for the last Mariners away game, that's an increase of 300% of appearances in Gosford since November. I think I've spooked the locals

Not sure if i can make this one, as im a fair way further north than Gosford this weekend. we shall see.

I think PIO will start but it has to be last chance saloon. If he cant score against the sauce bottles he has a problem, and i think we can read into what popa thinks by last weeks starting line up.

This could be a banana skin though, we struggled up their earlier for a 2 nil win and i think that they have improved some what now that ferreiras back from injury. It may not be the lay down we think it should be.

There are two good things to do in cold weather... both start with an F.

Pio does a lot off the ball. He only can do so much when he isn't getting the service ie Castelen refusing to pass the ball either sooner, or at all.

I don't think Pio is the problem, its more how he is utilised in the system.

I hope for his and all our sakes, he starts (he has to) and bangs in a brace or more this weekend. Get the team back on track, confidence for himself and the team, and back to our winning ways.

He may be misfiring, but we aren't at the bottom end of the table. We are 2nd and only a point behind 1st. Still 12 games plus finals to play.

I'm surprised that Romeo hasn't been copping some heat similar to what Fred has been to be honest.

We've been ripping into him for almost the entire season on ATB. But all the "media pundits" love him for some reason. Why? Because he is "dynamic"? Pay attention to what he actually does and what he actually produces. He is exciting for some periods, but the end product is lacking completely. He doesn't assist, he doesn't score. He just loses the ball every time.

The "experts" in this country only care about "flair" and never end product.

Its why we failed to qualify for the Olympics too.

So it looks like things are going back to normal. 80% chance of rain and possible thunderstorms for game day.

One reason we took seats in the top terrace (that, and the fact that when the Blok starts jumping, that whole bottom area at Saucebottle Stadium feels like it's about to cave in).

That could mean one of two things. 1. He is not a 'team' player. 2. He lost confidence in the striker.

2 is not an option because he has done this since he signed with us has nothing to do with pio, the guy is just a good old fashion HOG

I wish Sotirio would learn from him and hog the ball, can't remember the last time he took on a defender..so much potential.
