But ive got no idea how to spend my day today now that im flying solo. Usually i come down for work or to see mates. ***** work today and mates arent there.

You'll come up with something.... I'm sure!

You'll probably start bumping into some other early birds in red and black down there??

I'm guessing someone reading your post here will respond.

 Enjoy anyway.      :D

Head out to Lygon St and have a pizza at Cafe Corretto then head to Brunetti for a good coffee and Italian canoli. Grab a MyKi card and catch the 96 tram out to St Kilda and have a walk along the beach there or do the MCG tour which is always good fun. Want to buy some cheap designer clothing or shoes? Head to Docklands and have a look at the factory seconds stores there. Check out Victoria Markets

Worst comes to worse, head to the casino. Some of my best trips to Melbourne have been by myself, deciding what to do on the spur of the moment. Lucky you, wish it was me.

Gotta love our commitment.... We take more to Victardia than ESFC have in the Cove for a home game.... :cheeky:

Girlfriend flew to Diwn to Melbourne this morning for a bridal party weekend get away, messaged me saying there were wanderers fans everywhere (assuming she meant at Sydney airport). Wish I was going down, I'll never forget the December 28th game a few years ago!

Start singing "Melbourne boys are still number 2" and I reckon you'll get plenty of attention.

It was the most intense game I've ever been to. The charge in the ground after a vic delegation "said hello" at our pub was so intense it could almost be grabbed with hands. I still remember the shock in the vic supporters faces standing to our left. They could not believe the effort the RBB put in that night.

I've been humming it to myself most of the day

A mate and I went to the cricket (test at the mcg ticked off the bucket list), so we missed the "pleasantries". As we're getting changed at the hotel, we hear this almighty roar, getting louder and louder.

Stick my head out the window, crane my neck as far as I can ("river view" my ******* arse), I see the red and black horde still miles away. Haul arse to the pub (beer deluxe or something) where we find out what happened earlier. Certainly put me in the mood for the rest of the night.

And, ****, now I really, really wish I was in Melbourne
