First game i could get to in nearly 2 months, the relief is REAL.

Hopefully all next week the news will be about how we humiliated the smurfs on and off the pitch.

All positive.

But alas should we go down THAT path ..... well if we're gonna walk on thin ice, we might as well dance, so if that time must (and I hope it doesn't) come lets at least go out with a bang and have one person in distress in every single bay on the Southern side of the stadium. Something out of Galatasaray or Hajduk Split.

Na jokes, God it will be great to be back   :grouphug:

Daily Tele today has a 2 page article 'East feasts upon West'

Firstly - lame, haven't exactly feasted in any match

Secondly - they're called East in the article, still want to claim being a team for all of Sydney ?

Dimas

Andreu Nichols

Romeo Santa Bridge

Cole

Vidosic

Golgol

Sotirio

Reddy

Come at me bros

Which is it, Redders or Reddy?

I know Cole hasn't played this season, but he has lifted for a Derby or two in the past. Would love to see ho get some time.

Romeo was difficult for them to contain in the first Derby this season until he was hacked in the first half. I think some more pace up front would double the trouble so to speak. Maybe GolGol in for Santa, and push Bridge into the middle.

Dario needs a rest.

On paper it looks pretty good though and I wouldn't complain with the line up.

It's Reddy. Oops meant to write Redmayne on the bench.

Was very tempted to chuck Cole in, but having two players in defence who haven't played next to each other is dicey.

I was tempted to put Golgol in for Santa too, and actually leave him in the middle. I think he'd be a bit more of a handful for their two big lumps than Bridge. Plus Santa is better of the bench. But I think Santa will harass their defenders as well, and is more likely to last 90.

Me too. It has been a slow buildup for me this time. I usually get excited a whole week before the derby but after last weeks slaughter, it's only building momentum now it's Friday arvo.

With Aspro and Alberto out, Is this the opportunity we needed to change from the 4-2-3-1?????

Two strikers.......Please..... Pretty Please

i've got a horrible feeling this game will go to extra time.

'Arnie time' you mean.

They only start playing proper football after the 90th minute. Cue a 93rd min charge up field, the furthest all match, a couple of spawny passes, a few hacks the ref misses and a shot through the keepers legs or a lucky deflection and over the line........ rinse and repeat.

If ESFC are surging late, just kick the ****ers up in the air well away from the box or row Z the ball, no injury time free kicks around the ******* box.

Hey, steady on. No need to drag Liverpool down to that level.

Has anybody made it to the end of the video? The whole thing is comedy gold. Although I can't bring myself to watch it all the way thru, I feel such an acute embarrassment on his behalf Edited by StringerBellend

Jamo to score an injury time winner.

Runs over to celebrate in front of the RBB

Reaches into his dacks....

And pulls

Out a flare. That he lights.

The rest of the team join him, producing their own flares/smokies/"detonators"(ffs).

We have the biggest party ever.

The Cove run home to their mommies.

End scene.

Only 3 changes to starting eleven

Hamill, Andreu & Dimas in for Aspro (susp) Pepper & Baccus.

If Hamill can have the game of his life, no reason why this can't be a WSW victory on the night.

What is it with the local football media piling on with the anti football media. Simon Hill has been making the point that when there's trouble in other codes the media says the individual is the problem, however when there's a problem in football it's the code that's the problem. Now Bossi is comparing A-League fans with Turkey and Argentina.
