We get to enjoy these very special derbies because ESFC lives in a "mansion" while a five room home would do for them. Once or twice a year we are filling all those empty rooms which are usually covered with sheets to stop them from collecting dust.

Let Arnie talk. Chances are he's sh1tting himself, dreading the sight of 15-20k WSW supporters at the mansion. He's dreading that we'll come to their place, eat all their food, drink all their drinks, burb, fart, leave a big turd in the toilet behind, and noisily walk away with the family jewelry (= 3 points) in the bag.

Let's just reflect on the last four games:

  • Bridgey didn't score the 2:0 (it would have been game over then), Beauchamp gifts Garcia a goal instead.
  • Next game we weren't able to take the 2:0 into the half time break (if we had it would have been game over again), and had Saba sent off instead.
  • At Parra Adeleke was napping against Ibini, and we drew a game where we had them in the bag for most of the time.
  • And finally Hamill played Santa and gifted the Smurfs a bag full of goals.

We need to oil our vocal chords and own their mansion. The teams needs to be more clinical up front, and switch off the errors at the back. Hopefully we'll see someone reasonably impartial blowing the whistle.

Other than that: can someone create a meme of a penis with an Arnie-head?

So just a picture of Arnie will suffice?

They always try and showpiece what Sydney is.. like get the **** over it.

7 years and did **** all for Sydney, in 3 years we put ourselves on the world map.

Their whole image and philosophy from day one was based around superficial and pretentious notions.

Bling FC

Marquee signing party boys in the tabloid papers

Showcasing Sydney and the harbour as a city and trying to gain popularity as a club out of that

etc etc

So then Arnie comes along and talks about mansions and the big city life. It's a perfect fit.

But where is the talk about the football and how great their supporters are? They celebrate life in the city. We celebrate our ACL victory. Notice the difference.

We pride ourselves on being from western Sydney.

They pride themselves on being wankers.

LOL. I just burst out laughing at work as I read that   .

Like Jamo said

"Truth is, the fans here were ready to support a local side long before they got one. I think their genuine love of the game and of the Wanderers is part of what makes this derby so special.

It's not difficult to see how passionate our fans are. I see it in the jerseys worn around the local shops in the lead up to game day, I hear it in the roar of the crowd and I feel it in the community spirit the Wanderers has created.

There's a real sense of belonging to something when you support the Wanderers and that's what our fans convey every time they turn up in their thousands to drive us on.

This Saturday will be no exception.

Our objective this season is pretty clear: we want to be the best team in the A-League. As a club, we've enjoyed a lot of success so far, so I've got no doubt that we're going to have a successful season.

In terms of this Saturday, we're feeling fresh and we're prepared to take on anything Sydney FC can throw at us.

It's no secret I've played with other A-League clubs, including Sydney FC, but I've got to say the treatment I've had here with the Wanderers has been world class. "Popa" [coach Tony Popovic] and the boys have welcomed me in with open arms and I couldn't be happier...."

Sure, the west might be geography, but Sydney is red and black."

So, wonder what this Sydney FC tifo is about... must be amazing if so many skipped the Newcastle game to do it.

Wait what who missed the game because of a tifo ?

haha that's why our crowd was so small 10 people doing a tifo half our supporter group was out for it  ... though seriously this is the second time I've heard this.

Not sure who originally said it. It was some retarded post, i read it here but not sure if it was a screenshot of a SFC forum

I hope they score first and then we kill them. I want them to feel joy, followed by uncertainty, followed by absolute certainty and absolute heartbreak

Nah I'd rather see them sob for 80 minutes like at the grand final. I want to see that Alli tifo for the last 15 minutes (the anz is covered by our fans)

btw my older bro (who is a ADPFC fan) is taking his wife and her cousins to the game - their first ever A-League/Football game in their lives.

So it'll be extra special if we pwn them on and off the pitch.

"You follow a $hi+ team" is what I want their conversation in the car on the ride home to be.

last seasons slide started at the first derby when we blew a 2-0 lead

Last season's slide began a few weeks before we won the Asian Champions League?

Now, a little death anxiety is normal. You can expect to go through five stages. The first is denial.

No way, because I'm not going.

Second is anger.

Why you little!

After that comes fear.

What's after fear? What's after fear?

Bargaining.

Doc, you gotta get me outta this. I'll make it worth your while.

And finally acceptance.

Well, we all gotta go sometime.

I hope we are 3 0 up at half time, 5 0 with 10 minutes to go and by the 83 minute half the stadium is empty as they stream out for the exits, wiping their tears on there "Del Peirio" shirts

Oh and Seb Ryall gets sent of off in the second minute of injury time

Copa90 will be there so I don't expect any goals or any action on the field

They were at the melbourne derby which was an absolute cracker (and had some similarities to the last Sydney Derby, in fact)

Wanderers win 5-1

God bless you for your optimism. I recall a 6:1 against Adelaide, a 4:1 in Brisbane, and a 5:0 in the CL. That's as many high scoring games I think there were in three years. Five goals at Moore Park seem as likely as my cat playing Beethoven on the piano.

FCB my brother , I'd suggest setting some cameras around the house mate. Your car is about to be famous.
