The other fixtures fell kindly for us, the only way it could have been kinder was if we were at home. Sending Adelaide to City and Brisbane to Victory is fortunate. How this works out is any ones guess! I think City could well do us a favour and surely MV can get at least a draw against the Roar which means we could still pip them to the title on GD! Only a win for Roar against Victory will guarantee the plate I think?

A nerve wracking weekend of football to come for sure!

Brisbane have a massive advantage because of the simple fact that they know exactly what they have to do, a good performance and a win and the plate is theirs, they don't need to worry about anyone else and can focus on their own game.

You can bet the Nix will frustrate though, they always do against us.

100% certainty: We will get screwed by the referees

Not sure who the ref is this week?

But, we should all read Simon Hill's excellent article this week before the game: http://www.foxsports.com.au/football/a-league/simon-hill-defends-refereeing-standards-in-aleague-wants-players-to-stop-protesting/news-story/d45997806a816bb9f56ffb082d571e90

Simon Hill might want to have a word to the overseas players and get their opinion about the Aussie refs. What I've heard is that they are "really bad".

Just trying to remember how many interstate away games we've won in the last couple of years. Brisbane in S3, City in S4. That's it, right? Not the kind of track record to instil confidence.

But then there was the S2 Rd27 game against Heart in Melbourne where we secured 2nd spot. What a game and result that was!

Edit: Riera out should help our cause.

The Heart game if I remember was an RBB TOD come from behind win at Harry Kewell's farewell match. For me this remains the best ever TOD trip. Maybe this being a TOD and The Nix farewelling Sigmund and Muscat will fall in our favour. I'm just hoping that Nichols Bridge and Jamieson all click in the same game and the rest will take care of itself. I'm sure Popa learnt much at The Mariners match and imagine it to be a template for this and the Finals series.

Generally agree with Hill on the majority of what he writes..... agree to disagree on parts of this one.

No wonder they can't get an extension of their license and failing to make money. I bought the cheapest ticket for many years at $23 for this game.  :ninja:

WHO THE **** ARE THE "WEST SYDNEY WANDERERS"?????

**** the nix. Fold the club, **** them back to NZ's Premier league 4 (is that a thing?) where they ******* belong. It's "WestERN Sydney", you stupid sheep-shagging, hillbilly, backwards country ******* fush and chups eating dumb ****s

I hear their fans are nice though. So that's good.

**** I'M PUMPED FOR THIS! Bought tickets in ******* November!! It's finally here!! Bring on 9:30AM tomorrow, and then a weekend of strip clubs and football (apparently, there's not much else to do in Wullington)

This match is intense.I think Hamill and Mebrahtu will be omitted. Cole on the bench.

WSW Expected line-up:
Reddy
Jamieson | NTS | Alberto | Neville
Andreu | Dimas
Vidosic | Nichols | Castelen
Bridge

Subs: Redmayne, Cole, Santalab, Pepper, Baccus

Hoping this is the team to come back to Parramatta with a nice plate in their hands.

Nix are expecting a bumper crowd with over 12k tickets already acquired for the match.

Amazing. I was expecting no one to turn up to this one. Their season has been dead for weeks.

Last game of their season plus....WSW is in town

A couple of thousand free tickets help.

Good on the Nix for giving away so many tickets. Hopefully the initiative works out for them
