Nothing worse than some spastic saying "they are our seats" in the ******* ACTIVE SECTION...In-fact remove all the seats they are terribly inconvenient..

which is what happened non  stop last time we played at penrith, people complaining to security cause their precious seats in the RBB were taken up by someone else :nono:

then what are you gonna put your beers under?

This is a problem and dilemma I have not considered...Most of the time my beverage doesn't last that long..

It's a tough one for me, we are in the finals, I'm coach & we are training tonight. We've already got 3 people not attending because of the WSW match & I'd feel crap if I went to the match & not training. My brother told me that he can't finish at 5:30 & make it out to Penrith in time for the match. I'm pretty sure it's an excuse because of travel & not sure how to get home afterwards but I'm sure a lot of others will be in the same boat.

One good thing about tickets for tonight's game is that the active section is GA un-allocated seating..finally

is someone listening or is this unplanned chance.

I'm guessing unplanned the whole ground is GA tonight. I doubt they will even keep active and non active ga tickets apart

Understand that many have legitimate reasons for not going - work, training etc but still 6k would be rubbish and something we would laugh at esfc for if it was them.

SFC got less than 4k for a quarter final against Adelaide in their home stadium btw. They can't say 5h1t to anyone about midweek FFA Cup attendances.

ok here's my good deed for the day for those who don't know Penriff. also handy for those who don't mind the extra walk (couple hundred metres), to avoid having to get out of the parking lot that the ground will become tonight. link below is a map of Pepper stadium with surrounding streets etc. the walk is probably a similar length to those who park at Cumberland hospital when we play at Wanderland.

my advice is to park on Regentville road or Preston street, walk to the stadium on Regentville road, there's a small concrete bridge (even though it doesn't appear on the map) that walks over a big wide drain and joins onto Jamison road (there's footpaths btw)

when you leave, drive down Preston road towards Mulgoa Road, will be able to turn left onto Mulgoa road (left hand turn only due to concrete island's in middle of road), drive down Mulgoa road for a roughly 2km's, will be able to turn left onto the M4 going back to Sydney. find your own way home from there lol

From memory it was a midweek game. Half the attendants got there late as well so at KO it was even more empty

The Western Sydney Wanderers are infamous for breaking records and tonight the Red & Black could be in line to break another.

From being the first Australian club to win the AFC Champions League, the fastest Hyundai A-League club to reach 100 competitive matches and the first Hyundai A-League club to reach two grand finals in its first two years of existence, the Wanderers are now aiming for a crowd record.

Hosting Brisbane Roar at Pepper Stadium, Penrith, the Wanderers need a crowd of 5,239 to break the record for the highest attendance at a Westfield FFA Cup Round of 32 match.

Currently held by South Coast Wolves when they welcomed Central Coast Mariners to WIN Stadium last year, Wanderers fans can surpass that record with a healthy turnout tonight.

Tickets are available at the gate but it is recommended to skip the queue by clicking here and pre-purchasing online. Kick-off is at 7:30pm.

Westfield FFA Cup Record Crowds

16,142: Adelaide United v Perth Glory, Final (2014)

8,125: Sydney United 58 v Sydney FC, Round of 16 (2014)

5,238: South Coast Wolves v Central Coast Mariners, Round of 32 (2014)

5,150: Tuggeranong United v Melbourne Victory, Round of 16 (2014)

4,849: Balmain Tigers v Melbourne Victory, Round of 32 (2015)

4,548: Adelaide United v Central Coast Mariners, Semi-Final (2014)

4,053: Adelaide United v Brisbane Roar, Round of 16 (2014)

There's also a car park just off mulgoa road behind Hyundai when you're heading towards the stadium. Only about 200m walk

then what are you gonna put your beers under?

Now, there's a sharp thinker who zeroes in on the important stuff. It is a major issue which those in favour of "safe standing" may not have considered.

Sounds like there is a market for safe standing rails with built in beer holders.  ;)
