Anyone have any sneaky injury info? We know Gol Gol is out till Round 2 at least, Dario might start off the bench Round 1 & 2 plus Bridge anyone? Cole I think is still injured too. Santa had the thigh/hip problem in the FFA cup game so might not be risked round 1.

Oh and first :woah:

The team is still a few rounds out from working well together, I know Brisbane is a shambles at the moment but I just cant see this being an easy win.

1-0 to us but it'll be a struggle.

Stop with the stupid Gifs. Pre season is over.

9 of the 11 players pick themselves. Who plays LW and who plays RB?

Piovaccari

????? - Nichols - Castelen

Andreu - Dimas

Jamieson - NTS - Alberto - ?????

Wall Of Redmayne

It would be very un-popa-like to start Vidosic after only playing 15 mins in pre season, and that 15 mins was only due to injury to someone else. I expect he'll be on the bench, but I'd be very happy if he were to start.

The only other spot up for grabs would be right back. Neville did the job early, then had a few weeks off and Pepper really stood out playing RB. Hamill is the other option, and is probably the best of the 3 but do you play him out of position just to get him on the pitch?

Bring on Thursday night!!!!!

Haha well said Pup although I'm happy to spam this thread more talk about football and less about the cops now the season is on

Hamill if available plays RB for me tried and tested and I reckon is best to match up against brooch - but is there doubts about availability?

Agree with Dario and guess sorioto gets the gig? He needs a goal probably moreso than anyone if we don't get a good result and he puts in another sub par performance I'm thinking he is the post game scapegoat

Good thing for us is roar have issues in striking deptartment media reports saying their import and Maclaren are doubtful

Thank god this thread is back! Thursday can't come soon enough

To say that I'm excited for thursday to come around would be an understatement.

Depending on bridge's injury we might see Sotirio have another run at LW, and Vidosic coming on for him later in the 2nd half as an impact sub.

As for RB it's up for grabs between Neville, Pepper, and Hamill. I'd put my money on Hamill.

Also will be interesting to see who will be between the sticks? I still stand by my very unpopular opinion that Bouzanis is our number 1 keeper.

Edit: Gunner got in just before me

You know your always a chance against any team managed by the taker of that penalty.

so many questions this year about the whole comp.

Awesome scheduling FFA. :(

Does anyone actually know the thought process behind making it Thursday night? When we're trying to maximise crowds this isn't helping.
