Last home game of the season?

Last regular season game. Depends on whether we get a home final and if FFA decide the game should be at Parra (FFA decide all finals venues).

Does it also depend if we make it into top 2 spot?

I'm just going to emotionally invest myself and say this Friday will be the last home game at the old pirtek stadium.

All depends on the results of the three teams above us & Perth. Our only hope is that we don't drop any more points & hope that the current top 3 drop points.

That's a lot of hoping. Really hope that the few days off will recharge the boys & will see a better performance over the regular season plus finals.

No, 3rd and 4th placed teams play a home game against 5th and 6th the first week. 1 and 2 get the week off.

Cheers! thanks for clarifying. Now I feel abit better that this Friday won't be our last home game.

Bring on S.Cole!

If we **** the bed in the next two weeks we could still finish 5th (and Glory leapfrog us - they're only 2 points behind). But if that happens we definitely don't deserve a home final anyway (as much as it pains me to say it).

Plus City play away in Perth this weekend. Not an easy trip.

Not only do we need to win this game, we also need to win this making a statement that we are clicking again up front and to lay down a marker for the finals series.

WSW 5 - 0 CCM. I would like any kind of win of course, but we could do with giving CCM a damned good thrashing. All of the frustration from the last few months needs to be washed away in one glorious final game under lights at the old Parra stadium.

After last weeks shoddy effort I'm predicting an absolute massacre of the coast dwellers.

6-1

1-0 is probably more realistic though aha

I wouldn't be surprised at all if Perth beat City in Perth. Brisbane and Newcastle have that weird record where the away team seems to win a disproportionate number of games so it'd be nice if that could continue although I doubt it.

If ESFC beat Adelaide someone needs to call ASADA...

Last time we played the Mariners was 23 January for a 2-1 win. Bridge scored in the 11th minute and we missed at least 3 other chances, game should of been over at half time. Ferreira scored for them in the 67 min and it took Santa to score in the 88 min to win the game. Nothing much has changed since. Don't expect us to give them a flogging.

The Mariners are Romeo's favourite side to butcher clear chances against ;)

When it comes to butchering chances Romeo is just plain greedy, we have more than enough other players at the moment who can equally butcher chances..... if only he would pass more.... and let them shank, scuff, bunt and shoot straight down the keepers throat, it is what we do best, we have that market cornered.
