Youlley was impressive 2nd half, Dimas bossed around with Bruno playing  behind him.

New spanish fullback signing coughed the ball at the back lucky the Canberra fwd did not convert.

Jumpei was everywhere very speedy and likes to get down the line and link up with Hamill. Cole on the wing looked comfortable as did Clisby in the leftback role. Barb looked solid and Nichols was at his best playin behind  the strikers and thread them slight touch through balls.

I'm still defrosting from last night. Only the liquor helped numb the frost.

I assume the FB (left) you refer to is 18yo Jackson Bandiera or Cornflakes. Borda didn't participate from all reports.

Who is Barb that you refer too?

Token gesture by FFA

Western Sydney Wanderers survived a scare in the nation’s capital, eventually running out 4-1 winners over Canberra FC at Deakin Reserve. The hosts actually led 1-0 in the second half, with a 67-minute penalty converted by Shannon Cole drawing the Wanderers level. The Hyundai A-League club then finished all over FC, with Lachlan Scott, Mitch Nichols and new boy Jacob Melling all finding the net for Tony Popovic’s side. - See more at: http://www.a-league.com.au/article/hyundai-a-league-friendly-wrap/2yp5bhv79d1r12pvnzzoh58jv#sthash.bPlKpCOe.dpuf

na cornflakes was on the right back side must of been Bandiera. Lustica had a bit of a free role drifting from the left to mid to right while Jumpei stayed more to the right but looked to be more involved as the match wore taking a more central position. Which made Hamill more uncomfortable with the ball as the usual pass down the line to the wing option became less viable causing home to either pass backwards or attempt a cross or find Dimas ball.

Does Bruno have many differences/similarities to Andreu?

Bruno seems more solid so id say he has more qualities of a Dimas version 2.0 rather than andreu who was thin framed but was always so relaxed and technical at ease with the ball. Dimas and Bruno will the play the same but i see them this year releasing the ball much faster and looking for the fwd pass rather than the easier option of passing it back to the fullbacks. I think Popa is still tinkering and has in mind of pushing Dimas more fwd and BRuno more the defensive mid.
