Even the regular prices for non WSW home games are pretty high, no wonder they're struggling for crowds. $30 for a kid to sit in the grandstand, they're having a laugh.

There should be some sort of capped pricing system set up across the league to stop people being ripped off.

The rental costs at Central Coast Stadium are extraordinarily high--hence why the club wanted to try and buy the stadium themselves (and rent it back to NRL clubs during the winter). The rental costs do have a direct impact on the ticket prices. But, they still go up for WSW games. They will argue it's due to the increase security and staff they need to cover the higher crowd. *shrugs*

Yeah that's what I figured, but at the same time, surely if tickets were made cheaper they'd get more people through the gate and make just as much, if not more as they are now but with a bigger attendance. No use charging higher to make ends meet if hardly anyone's actually buying tickets to begin with.

Stop it while you're ahead. Talking sense in this FFA world will only set you back

The costs do change exponentially from what I understand. Insurance premiums change per game based on a range of attendances, not a total attendance. Price will be on for anything less than 5000, then again for 5000-10000 and so on. That does come into it.

But, in any other sense it's price gouging. Only way to stop it is to not go.

Not an option.

I for one am looking forward to the RBB shaking the joint to its core. They are doing a great job at Soulless, but they'll be even more inspiring at a real football ground.

This whole discussion we are having is why I believe South Melbourne are a solid expansion option, none of it is a concern with their stadium deal.

Yeah. They need 1500 to break even. We'd almost bring that many if it was a TOD

I'd say around 65% of away tickets have been sold already with a day to go. Should be full in the away end by kickoff. Keep in mind CCM PAX doesn't include their 4-5k ticketed members.

FWIW, we charged the CCM supporters at Spotless the same price at as they are charging us

Yeah but they got the bonus of getting to look at a huge lawn before the pitch starts.  We get crammed up near to the pitch itself.  People pay for open spaces like that in Sydney.  I tells yer.

Me and the good wife are in, will but tickets at the gate as not sure if grand kiddies are coming. We will be in the upper deck. If they come. its a great place for them to be active, being ages 4-8.

3-1 our way,

That just seems a dream atm.

Oh, how good would a win like that feel!!

Agree about the optimism...that Donovan guy is the worry, he can sniff out a goal, he'll be with the Vics next year

Still win or loose, it'll be a great day. If the pax numbers truly don't reflect the members, there could be 3 or 4 thousand of us (optimism again?)

Well I know why we don't take our chances. That was one of the worst shooting drill warm-ups I've ever seen. My local team could have done better. I'm surprised the scoreboard isn't broken it got hit so much!
