We seem to be really flat. A bit of a come down froml the derby last Saturday.?

Nope. That's just an excuse.

Not from you, but our poor excuse from the way we have performed.

At least we stopped esfc from going undefeated all year. Major highlight in what is a tragic season. The squad is average at best with a few class players.

Are you kidding?

That's the ESFC way.

I'm happy to admit that this season has been a ******* embarrassment. And that was certainly not a highlight.

That's NOT what we are about.

Grow some nuts.

You don't think beating them was a highlight in a poor season?

No I don't.

I truly don't think we have had ANY highlights this season.

Tonight proves it.

Anything we enjoyed last week is down the shitter tonight.

That's not to say I didn't enjoy last Saturday night. But......our team just flushed it. Well and truly. That was crap.

This to me was a test of our finals on the road credentials and we failed.

Everyone hates us and we don't care

Butters drops/throws captains armband at Dimas. LOL

wonder if it was intentional.

Whatever it was, it was symbolic.

Popa needs to make the call with Dimas: No more armband. No more dead balls. Only play as backup.

He has spent most of his time wandering around, not making any effort whatsoever. The second goal, he had about 4 or 5 chances to close down people in the leadup and just meandered across somewhere in their vicinity. Just picking up his paycheck.

Oh idk, i enjoyed that win and its been a small bit of pleasure in a pretty dour season. Not to say that we should be content with winning against esfc. But some times in this kind of season, you gotta take your joy where you find it

I've heard of not being able to truly enjoy winning until you've gone through the bad times but I've never heard of not being allowed to enjoy the good times because of the bad times. That's a new one.

I can't agree.

Small minded mentality. Not from you, but the club.

I understand that we have to grab onto any small mercy this season, but I won't accept mediocrity.

Nor should the club.

We need to learn lessons from this shite season if the club wants to fulfill its promises, which are to be a competitive team every year.

This season, they have failed big time.

When our top players do not start we are seriously crap.

All of our detractors and haters will say we deserved it.!

The problem is, we don't have that many of them.

Which other team regularly rests it's top players? ACL or not?

All I am going to say is.

Popa has control of signing players.

He is the one who tells the players what to do on the field. 'keep possession, back pass etc'

And he controls the tactics, selects the players and trains the players.

I am not saying #popaout but he has a massive role as to why we are doing really poor this season.
