Note 1: This game was a disastrous game for the Video Assistant Review system. The Wanderers should have been awarded a penalty early in the game, but both the referee & VAR missed it.
Note 2: Robbie Cornthwaite was sent off after a VAR system resulted in the referee changing his mind on a potential handball from no foul, to giving Cornthwaite a second yellow card & giving Adelaide a penalty.
Note 3: Adelaide's first goal was also a mistake for the VAR, as it missed a clear offside from an Adelaide player before the ball ran through to Kitto.

Ref didn't look at our penalty claim then looks at this one and gives it didnt even look like contact with the hand to me and the decision is clear error - absolute bs continues with the VAR

I give up on the A-League/ VAR shat.

They are trying their hardest to kill football in this country.

seriously the Var was supposed to fix it but it has made it worse

VAR is ridiculous.

Blatant pull back on Riera, missed by Beath, reviewed, no pen.

Shot glances off a player from a metre away, missed by Beath, reviewed, pen.

what we just witnessed there with the game continuing for a bit and then going back for a pen is just absolutely farcical. Part of the beauty of football is that it is continuous and flows. we are heading down an nfl track where everything is reviewed and we stop/start to the point where a 90 minute game takes 2 and a half hours. it is ******* horrible and the sooner we end this garbage experiment which I still think is largely to benefit the advertisers the better.

Its a handball or its not. Shouldn't take that long to keep running, makes us more frustrated watching it.

Then ***** bs a yellow gets given for a glancing hand ball. What intent, what did he know about the ball in, what chance did he have to get his hand out of the way blah blah blah. RAHHHH

I had to turn the TV off, I almost thrown my remote at it. I'll just get the text notifications.

I can't put up with the VAR ****, it's ruin the game!!. I hope...really hope that FIFA take over FFA soon. But, knowing me, football in Australia will probably remind ****.
