Note 1: This game was a disastrous game for the Video Assistant Review system. The Wanderers should have been awarded a penalty early in the game, but both the referee & VAR missed it.
Note 2: Robbie Cornthwaite was sent off after a VAR system resulted in the referee changing his mind on a potential handball from no foul, to giving Cornthwaite a second yellow card & giving Adelaide a penalty.
Note 3: Adelaide's first goal was also a mistake for the VAR, as it missed a clear offside from an Adelaide player before the ball ran through to Kitto.

Adelaide will suffer from a game that went into extra time on Tuesday night and could tire towards the finish. Gombau has had more time with the squad due to the postponed game v The Nux and has worked more on the system he wants in place. Looking forward to a more fluid display from the guys and that they compete for the full 90 mins.Risdon back from Socceroos duty is a bonus.

2-1 WSW

Are we sure there aren't any electronic music festivals in Adelaide next weekend?

I don't think banjo's take up much electricity?

Anyway, we got this, good vibe about this one - 2 - 0 win.

Adelaide have a massive injury ward atm too. Despite playing 120 min, we are playing late Sunday so shouldn't be an issue for the fit players.

Couldn't agree more.  Ergo  drawski

That's a type of question taurus would have answered.. Where is he? Haven't seen him post in awhile.

England.

edit - I realised you were talking about Taurus not Herd.

Herd is in England.

Taurus moved house so no internet. He's back though.

Gombau should ry moving Llorente forward to left wing and bring Clisby in at left back.

Cisby is a liability. He can stay in the *2 to be omitted category

Clisby puts in an honest shift, but he'll never star.

No Marrone will hurt us. Was a massive liability for Adelaide in the cup final.

The ballboys will breathe a sigh of relief though
