Will be interesting to see how many rock up. Maybe the sea bogans will turn up as they see this as the first real chance they have had in beating us in quite some time.

2-1 them

crowd less than 10 thousand. we might struggle to take over 1000 - what's the feeling? The club should be promoting this as a chance to come and see what a wanderers home game, actually feels like Lol

Just checked the ticketek site.  2 days out and with both active and none active combined, less than 1 bay filled ATM.  Usually 3-4 bays sold  for these games.   Could be grim......and true indication on on how fans feel .  Hopefully flood of people buying before game.

Probably for the best.

Can almost guarantee it'll be one of the smallest WSW contingents we've had.

It’s going to be well grim

Our results have been poor, we just got bummed (and not in a good way) in the derby is nearly Christmas

Perhaps if they had a tie in with a Disney film people would show up

or if the fans bought into Gombaus philosophy and process that it’s ok to get lose three games in a row as we are playing attacking football but not scoring any goals

Goals aren’t the point of football neither is winning it’s all about passing the ball sideways

rant ends

The low attendance will be felt by the CCM's accountant. WSW supporters are a travelling cash cow no more.

Subsidised wsw active supporters ticket "only" $29.75. Non subsided ticket for Phoenix supporters on NYE: $20 bucks.

Food for thought for those who pretend to run the league.

This year has been a year of " firsts" for me.

1st time:

* I turned the TV off at half time and didn't continue to watch the game (vs ADL)

* I didn't go to watch a home game (vs Bri) for no reason apart that didn't want to go.

* 1st time I didn't stay till the end of the game (vs Syd)

* 1st time I am not going to the Mariners away game.

So after years of not missing home games and travelling multiple times interstate as well as overseas to watch WSW, this year it feels like the life has been sucked out of the club/team.

TBH I cannot wait to go back to Parra, hoping that things may return to normal until then it's going to be 2long seasons.

Same as me except for the first two bullets.

Appointed Referee for this game is Alex King.

First year A-league referee from Queensland so already may be a Gillett/Green/Beath disciple unfortunately.

Since last year the kids have been nagging me to do an away trip. As soon as the schedule was released this was identified as the best opportunity for our first away game. And they are still keen after last week. We'll be driving up. What are the parking options around the ground?

Good call it looks like I may have a few extras coming as well.

Parking is pretty straight forward. Once you get to the bottom of the hill look for the game day parking signs. You park in a park so to speak. its about 5-10 mins walk to the stadium. easy

Lots of parking and the train is also an option.

I would recommend Commuter Car Park on "Showground Road""

Link less than 5 minutes walk to the stadium... also parking stations on the other side of the line

I've heard they will be playing Sunny as striker and Wesley as defensive mid..

if you are going to the pub (settlers) pre match, then in adcock park is a good spot, park up the end closer to the stadium and you can walk along a track there to get to and from the game/pub

This season has been 0 or 100. We’re either gonna smash them or they’ll smash us.

So it's a 1-1 then, yeah?

If we win it's gunner be a slow death so I'd rather the corpse be cold by xmas so we can get back to what we do best. Ripping flares without a care.

When’s the suspended 3 point penalty lift anyway?

After 6 decades of no club team to support in Australia my past, current and future disappointments with the club aren't going to deter me from continuing to go to all matches in NSW plus some others to support my team while I'm able to, regardless of the stadium, in the years I have left.  I'll be a long time dead.

Hopefully Llorente has overcome his injury.

Raul didn't start in the derby because of said injury.

Sotirio still out so Bridge could start.
