Last game with the ginger ninja in charge, dominate the 60, struggle in the last part, 2 - 2 draw.

Peter Green is the Ref

Thwaite returns from injury.

Berisha is suspended. Troisi and Barbarouses on international duty and maybe Jai Ingham as well. Leroy George left the field with a hamstring problem last round. The striker from South Melbourne, Athieu, named in their squad but is carrying a foot injury. They have a positive in that Milligan is allowed to play against us during the FIFA window (starts Monday)!

I imagine the boys will want to put in a strong performance given the changing of the guard. Isn't there footage of Gombau telling Muskrat to shut up online?

Ran into the 3 spainards, Roly, santa and bridge at lunch at SOP today looking very relaxed and having good laughs

spoke to Roly for a bit he's loving life here and they said they are over the moon with Josep getting job

reminded me of what a good life they have as I walked back into the office

tipping a win this week victory are there for taking

Victory haven't won a game this season, have been playing like absolute **** and are missing the bulk of their squad along with Berisha.

Anything other than a win after 8 days off with the squad that we have is just unacceptable. Even with Foxe still in charge.

Knowing us we'll probably give them their first win of the season and play them into form. Lmao.

Sometimes it does feel like we feel sorry for teams and gift them a win or point. Really need to be ruthless and exploit their deficiencies.

Likely Victory Starting XI

............Thomas

Geria....Deng......Williams....Broxham

..........Milligan.......Valeri

Ingham.........George.........Austin

...................Waring

One of the Victory fan forums is bemoaning Valeri's form. There are whispers of Austin playing striker. George is carrying an injury. Muscat could put ***** into LB, move Broxham to DM and put Milligan to AM so George could move to striker.

In any case, I'm expecting Cejudo to start wherever Geria is with Riera to play off Deng as they shoumd skin them. Williams could get a red card the way he is playing. Would be best to play starting XI in the same formation we had against Perth if all are fit. AND not include Melling on the bench as Green will be out to get him sent off after the FFA Cup game.

So Victory has some of their squad and we have full strength minus Risdon...... why do I have this uneasy feeling that they are gonna hit form the moment they play us??

Because you're a pessimist??   :meep:  :meep:

Are the boys staying down there until the City game ?

The game against Vi$ion is in the graveyard slot of 7.00pm Sunday, so with a six day turnaround I would say no.

If you have Foxtel Go (or Now) use a VPN to trick it into thinking you are in Australia

Indeed, getting MUCH harder work using a VPN to trick the comp in to thinking it is in the UK, well for certain UK media outlets it is....still staying one step ahead though.

Really important game for both teams. Victory obviously need to get going, we need to stay in touch with leaders and get going again after last week’s draw-loss-draw shenanigans, especially with Newcastle and Perth ahead of us.

At the airport, on the way not to Melbourne but Germany.

When I'll get off the plan tomorrow  at 10:30pm Sydney time I expect to learn about a WSW win.

What brings you to desutchland ??

btw no one expect to watch a league at leagues clubs they rather play raffles and old nrl games then let us watch Samantha Kerr in action

I know he doesn't officially take over until after the game tonight but will the new manager have any influence on tactics, team selection or substitutions....?

Going to be interesting to watch. We need a win to stay in touch with the teams above us.

A draw or loss leaves us mid table while a win just 4 points off top with ESFC to play CCM next round while we take on Vi$ion.
