by the rules its the right call - if you consider baccus' a foul.

reddy was making a play on the ball = yellow

baccus wasn't = red

Que? Thwaite wa right there for their pen. Reddy was last man and didn’t really look like he made a play on the ball at all. I don’t even think KB’s was a pen. Soft, hardly touched him.

That is right, although the replay seemed to show Reddys studs make contact half way up Rerias leg.

In the meantime my Foxtel box has crashed 3 times already. It’s glibg to be an entertaining night for sure

This is, what, the third game of ours rendered a total farce by the VAR. That’s not to mention all the little errors and other frustration it causes.

I reckon Perh were offside for the first one too, why no replay?

like  i said if you consider baccus' a foul. thwaite isn't going to be able to stop him shooting - its a clear goal scoring opportunity. i don't think it was a foul in the first place but because he 'grabbed' him rather than made  a play on the ball its a red not a yellow.

reddy slides out trying (in theory at least) to make a play on the ball. which is why its a yellow even though its a clear goal scoring chance. you could as davo said rule it a violent challenge and red him anyway but thats the logic of the decisions.

Because the lunacy of VAR means they only check offside if they score. If Baccus thought he was offside he would have been better off letting the goal happen because then VAR can review it.

The things thats disappointing about the early send off is it gives gombau an excuse if this goes pear shape - not his selections

Nothing to lose now....if we get hammered it's because we were a man down but if we get something draw/win then it's a masterclass

Oh yeah. Hahaha ah this VAR is a joke. And this is the problem. Logic would say that if you’re gonna stop the game three minutes later to give a pen, then you should be able to say it’s not one because of the offside. But that means you end up using VAR on other stuff - corners, throw in etc - and it’s everywhere. It’s gotta go.

Can we not pish around with the ball at the back for this game? We're down a man, now is the time to be efficient with our passes. To make them count

That red came from a phenomenally stupid play from Hamill. He charged upfield leaving a gaping hole in behind, and his cross went straight to a glory player for them to start a counter.

captain hamill leading by example

Good goal..from some usual shyte from  hamill.....o and clisby is shyte also.

clisby misreading the bouncing ball like he is an u/11s kid has been my highlight of the first half. oh and how great VAR is of course.

nice non-tracking there roly.

Down to 10 men and two of those are clisby and hamill....you wonder how it is only 3 really.
