That penalty was brought to you by One HD, Fox Sports, & the FFA. And the fact ESFC were 2 down.

Never a penalty. Arm raised by Carney first.

Quoting my own post:

The Manchester United of Australia. Indeed.

Fu#k off East Sydney.

So angry.

Split it points is not good enough. **** penalty but that gets given.

We we had them cornered, ran out of legs, lost our game plan and no subs. That one is on Foxe.

PS 34k people is rubbish.

We were never going to win that. Always looked like ESFC were going to come back and get a draw. We just always go into our shells when we get a lead. Our last 5 mins of injury time was also pretty bad. Lucky we didn't let them score again.

Saying that, ESFC are nowhere near the team they were last season.

How many fuucking fouls does a player have to make before a yellow ffs????  Everyone else 1, Bozo 5-6 n still no fuucking yellow!!  :nono:

why did we take our foot off their throat??? At one stage we started  walking like we were 4-0 up ffs!!  Lacking that killer finishing off instinct but we outplayed them , please sign a manager pronto!

Yep. Agree. I don't know if it is a hangover from Popa but our play is so slow at times.

On a more positive note...Riera is the goods.

Our first half performance, with the fast interpassing and forward movement was close to the best we have been in a Derby.

Most players performed creditably: Riera holds off defenders and shields the ball so well; Risdon was dynamic; Cejudo's twisting and turning could undo a Rubic's cube in record time; Baccus was seemingly everywhere... though Bridge (as much as he is my favourite all-time WSW player) was off the pace and barely contributing.

Still, it was a great game and advertisement for football and future such occasions. Let's hope we can carry our first half passion and form through to the FFA Cup Semi on Tuesday, so that we meet our Derby rivals again in the FFA Cup Final.

Just before Hamill scored i was sharing my sons lollies. When his header went in i jumped up and swallowed one ******* whole.....everyone celebrating and me ******* choking...that is what Hamill scoring an amazing header does to me.

Anyway..we played some good stuff first half and then that penna changes things. In the end we were hanging on for the draw. But we deserved to win.

Good signs but we need a new coach in asap.
