Just saw Arnie on the news talking about the Derby. No provocation this time. Said we had great supporters, and he has no problem with us. Something tells me that he's come to the realisation that he's poked the bear one too many times, and maybe he's better of keeping his mouth shut this time :woah:

He has no problem with us, haha. Well, it's more a matter of us having a issues with him. Last year's ANZ derby tifo hurt him big time, no doubt. Can't be easy for him to feel so despised in his home town.

A couple of years ago I saw him walk along Parra's eat street. He was almost hiding behind his wife, head down. Like someone who feels guilty. Very guilty.

Well to be honest, he's brought it all on himself.

Last years tifo was just an attempt from him to get the sympathy vote from the public. He milked it for all it was worth.

Arnie...feeling guilty or coming to a realisation about WSW baiting not being good, yeah can't' see that somehow. If he is not saying anything it will be because he has been told not to.

Arnie hasn't suddenly seen the light lol He is a chunt and always will be.

That’s why I refuse

to go to Allianz let alone paying double for a ticket and  to watch there plastic faces if they win

So I hear FC have issues with the number of drums and even the megaphone the RBB wants in. Seriously. Once you cave in on pyro you're backsliding till chanting is outlawed.

Pretty sure there have been instrument restrictions since the first derby.

Speaking of megaphones, the FC capo....whose awful droning is far far too loud and obtrusive in leading chants, sounded loud enough on the TV last week to have been amplified over the PA system!!

It seemed much louder than usual, and it's ALWAYS too loud....altho maybe they just had mics close to the Cove???

I don't think I could last a game listening to him...

Guys what do you think will be the overarching strategy surrounding this game? Wirh a piece of silverware two games away, do you think this might be a whateves game to keep the team fresh?

One thing is for sure, we will never see scenes at Allianz like October 2013 again, which for mine holds the mark for the best ever atmosphere produced by WSW supporters.

There is a clip somewhere of the WDWSF from that game and it was epic. I am surprised I am not on the clip below as it was taken in more or less exactly the same position I was sat in, what a night that was and has never been quite the same since, regardless of the flare issue, taking that aside I don't think the whole WSW support has been in to it as much as that night. I thought every derby at Allianz would be like that lol A good win and totally insane in the stands

Yep, that was epic and sadly like you say, unlikely to be matched (maybe at the new stadium). I think the 2-3 loss compared, in the first half at least. I remember looking around when we were 2-0 up in that game and thinking 'this is ******* brilliant'.

Any word on Thwaite?

Only other position in doubt might be Jumpei, in case Foxe is keen to give Bridge a start, but I think Jumpei has just about done enough to keep his place.

It was definitely that game, I think the score was 2-1, because our two first half goals were at the other end, then Gameiro scored just before the break, then Bridge missed a pen in front of us.

ok yeah Win or Lose was absolutely going off as Bridge lined that up, the whole place was bouncing. Then...

arrgggh we owe these ****ers a few. Last year's win was nice, need to keep it going.

Does Sportsbet not do goalscorer markets anymore? I can't for the life of me find it. I wanted to put something on Santa scoring the winner and Llorente scoring any time.

Wrong game. The 3-2 game was when a vedran dropped the ball into his own net followed by a Gameiro goal, an own goal and a winner from Brosque. That's when things started going downhill.

The Bridge penalty squander was the game when we were 1-0 up through Onos goal and ended up losing 3-1 with an Abbas penalty.
