because i dont usually attend away derbies sadly, i dont know how its been done recently however the train trip is amazing, one of my best wanderers experiences was a train full of red and black

Speaking of penalties, am I the only one thinking Rieras penaltys will be worked out by keepers soon. Low to the corner every single time. Both times the keeper has got a glove to it. Just a thought.

I'd say that's a good thing. Popa made his disagreements with Gillett as public, visible and clear as he possible could within the FFA framework. I do wonder to what extent Gillett actually dug in, and bit back (without suggesting that he would have done so intentionally).

I am having a good feel about this game. We have a far better squad than last year while the Smurfs look weakened with the Pole out, Wilkshire in for Grant, and Redders trying to do a Vukovic. The Smurfs have more reason to be worried than us.

Last year we had our worst game of the season (home defeat against CCM) followed by the best game of the season (tifo gate at ANZ). There were certainly learning opportunities for us in Okon's game plan.

With the exorbitant prices East Sydney are trying to get away with, not only do I not blame people for not going but a full scale boycott should be in the works for their home derbies, soon

They have two home derbies this year.,two chances to gouge Western Sydney. The FFA won't do anything so it may be up to the fans to say enough is enough. I know a boycott deprives our players of in stadium support, but I'd rather pay a train fare to Moore Park and do a boycott outside their ground. 10K Wanderers fans protesting outside might make them think twice about pricing.

It would certainly make the evening news.

Not sure. There might be a story or two and then the media caravan will move on to the AFL draft or the upcoming Big Bash. We don't generate much 'water cooler' interest unfortunately.
