From RBB FB page:

This is our time, our season!

- Pre drinks from The Commercial Hotel, Parramatta from 1pm.

- Limited merchandise will be on sale from 3pm till 4.30pm

- A Dedicated train will be departing Parramatta Station at 5.45pm, headed for Central Station (limited stops).

- The March will leave Belmore Park, adjacent to Central Station at 6.45pm.

ALL WSW fans! Its our role to be the 12th man. Active seats or not, we all play our part to get our boys over the line.

Nothing but 90 minutes.

because i dont usually attend away derbies sadly, i dont know how its been done recently however the train trip is amazing, one of my best wanderers experiences was a train full of red and black

amazing day

Yeah you could be right. Although the Bridge miss seems more recent than the 3-1. That was the one where Beauchamp gave the ball away right?

Yeah, the worst backpass I've ever seen in my life.

Speaking of penalties, am I the only one thinking Rieras penaltys will be worked out by keepers soon. Low to the corner every single time. Both times the keeper has got a glove to it. Just a thought.

I was thinking about this earlier, and thinking that if I was him I'd hit my next one straight down the middle.

As exexpected, Jarred Gillett is the central referee. 😯

I'd say that's a good thing. Popa made his disagreements with Gillett as public, visible and clear as he possible could within the FFA framework. I do wonder to what extent Gillett actually dug in, and bit back (without suggesting that he would have done so intentionally).

I am having a good feel about this game. We have a far better squad than last year while the Smurfs look weakened with the Pole out, Wilkshire in for Grant, and Redders trying to do a Vukovic. The Smurfs have more reason to be worried than us.

Last year we had our worst game of the season (home defeat against CCM) followed by the best game of the season (tifo gate at ANZ). There were certainly learning opportunities for us in Okon's game plan.

Add to that the softening of the pitch which will suit the 3 amigos.

Apparently, Riera is scheduled to do an interview on The Daily Football Show podcast.

Soft muddy pitches are good, I am hoping someone goes through the back of Milos early doors and leaves a few marks.

"We've won the first two games [in the A-League] and we've won them both well. We expect to get better and better. I believe we're only functioning at 30 or 40 per cent of our capabilities," Arnold said. "The good thing about last week is we got three lots of 90 minutes in our legs so we'll be much fitter than them on Saturday night and I expect us to run on top of them."

We are massive underdogs again.

Pressures all on Sydney. They are expected to win at home, comfortably. They're gonna be under the microscope this season, and every little move/action will be scrutinised in comparison to last season.

"I believe we have the best fans in the country with the Cove and the family environment we have at Sydney FC is great to everyone"

The Wanderers fans bring a great atmosphere and they're fantastic fans. Everyone wants to have great fans, they do, we do, we have the best and they come second but it's always good to have a full stadium."

Ah Arnie still knew you had to bite :)

Judging by the current Ticketek Stadium Ticket Availability Map, it is WSW fans who have not yet taken up their usual full spread of seats for the Derby. Come on folk, get in there and pack the place out with Red and Black!

40% lol

he loves these bs percentages. So when he loses tomorrow he'll say something like "WSW are running at 95% and they only beat us because we were running at 50%"

Best of Arnie:

Pirtek was a "little shed", Allianz is a "mansion".
ESFC the "Man United of Australia", WSW the "little brother in Sydney".
Smurfs loaned ANZ to WSW.
WSW won't force a single safe of Vukovic.
The Smurfs giving an invincibles impersonation.
And now he is into percentages.

Meet Kenny Lowe:

"Arnie knows what he’s doing. He deflects certain things and everyone forgets about the game. You can’t fault the fella. He’s as cute as a box of monkeys. He’s like the cat with a ball of wool. He just plays with people. So that’s the way it goes.”

I sense a not so subtle dig at a certain banner

Except the Greens...... :-)

Greens accuse Sydney FC of threatening ‘family friendly’ image with Star Casino sponsorship

SYDNEY FC has “threatened its family-friendly image” with the announcement of Star Casino as the club’s major sponsor, according to Greens Gambling Harm spokesperson Justin Field.

Is there any other type of referee?

Our record under Gillett

2015-16: 5 games, 3 losses, 2 draws

With the exorbitant prices East Sydney are trying to get away with, not only do I not blame people for not going but a full scale boycott should be in the works for their home derbies, soon

Yep....Agree.

They have two home derbies this year.,two chances to gouge Western Sydney. The FFA won't do anything so it may be up to the fans to say enough is enough. I know a boycott deprives our players of in stadium support, but I'd rather pay a train fare to Moore Park and do a boycott outside their ground. 10K Wanderers fans protesting outside might make them think twice about pricing.

It would certainly make the evening news.

You protest outside the ground, I will be down the pub cheering you on. My empty seat would say enough.

Not sure. There might be a story or two and then the media caravan will move on to the AFL draft or the upcoming Big Bash. We don't generate much 'water cooler' interest unfortunately.

lol...

I don't think an empty seat would do it for this mob (ESFC). They'll find some way to spin it in their favour.
