Out, boycott this Sunday night overpriced foxtel scheduled match.

Will watch esfc hack us from home and will be able to watch more var-sicle decisions ruin a good game.

Settle for a draw

Ditto. I really wish we'd gouge the **** of them on our home turf, but our club seems a bit slow on the up take with these sorts of things.

I feel a strongly worded (whinge) letter coming on. Anyone not happy should do the same. This **** is dragging our game down.

$50+ for a ticket? No thanks

We're not cashed up eastern Sydney types and my Centrelink hasn't arrived yet

Out x 2, not stumping up the cash to spend 90 mins watching us get hacked on a Sunday evening. I will watch on the TV wit a regular supply of drinks.

I reckon we'll be hacked even more on Sunday because I expect ESFC to be tired after their flight from China and the midweek game

Heard Phil Moss.

He is in Sydney this week training Ferreira, Buijs and Simon. Guaranteed squad members on Sunday.

Same here out (+6). First derby that I will miss but don't feel like paying a small fortune to ESFC and be treated like a criminal.

I don’t think it’ll be another demolition derby but I feel it’s going to a really fierce encounter from both sides, one of which is fighting to a redeem a 5-0 embarrassment and one who will be trying to send out “Fortress Allianz” with a bang.

I wouldn’t read too much into Sydney being fatigued or jet lagged or whatever, whoever turns up on the day will win. They have had the mental edge over us for years now. Doesn’t matter whatever line up they put out. We need the biggest performance of the season Sunday.

We need to be clinical or were ****ed. Our inability to score from point blank range is very concerning. Sydney get one clear cut chance and 9/10 times they’ll punish you.

Expecting a record low crowd for this one.

Hey everyone! Could anyone tell me when and where the RBB March starts and the path to the stadium. I’ve never been in the March.

Usually starts at Belmore Park which is at Central Station. Keep an eye out on RBB social media as they'll inform people if there is a march or not.

I will missing my first derby since S1 because

  • ticket prices and the family friendly schedule are a joke. Trying to cash in on traveling WSW supporters just because they can deserves a mass boycott. A 25-30k crowd would be well deserved reward for Smurfs, FFA, and Foxtel.
  • I don't like seeing an all male security crew "handling" both men and females when entering the active bays.
  • I don't go to pre-season games.

Those who are going: enjoy.

The "activity" in this thread is testament to just how flat this season feels. I really hope that Lowy and Gallop will be gone soon, and the league can start re-energized next season.

Edit: only saw Hughsey's post above now, and I could not agree more.

There are 2 reasons that the Derby is not on Saturday as usual.  One is that Fox wanted a Derby for themselves as someone on here indicated earlier. The other is the FFA caving in to their pets in blue crying over playing an ACL away just before the Derby. Maybe it’s a bit of both.

Just saw the Smurf ACL team list. It is the normal A-League team except Calver replaces Buijs. Carney not on the bench either. So we know 3 players in the squad on Sunday: Buijs, Ferreira and Carney.

Arnie only subbed Zullo because of injury so his best XI played the full game.

Could Redmayne have a howler like he did last night?

Their backline may end up looking like

Calver..... Buijs.... Wilkinson.... Retre

Will he play Brillante and O'Neill?

Will Arnie rest any of Adrian, Ninkovic, Brosque or Bobo with Ferriera, Carney and Simon kept at home?
