The last time we played a tired Arnie-coached ACL team was the S1 game in the rain in Gosford.

Weren't CCM mostly a team of youngsters for that game?

Arnie only subbed Zullo because of injury so his best XI played the full game.

Could Redmayne have a howler like he did last night?

Their backline may end up looking like

Calver..... Buijs.... Wilkinson.... Retre

Will he play Brillante and O'Neill?

Will Arnie rest any of Adrian, Ninkovic, Brosque or Bobo with Ferriera, Carney and Simon kept at home?

I can't see Brosque starting; maybe Brillante to right back. At least one of Bobo, Ninkovic and Adrian may not start too

No, he played a full strength squad.

It appears a Union match is going to be played on Saturday evening, the pitch might resemble a vegetable garden just in time for the derby.

No way in hell do all 4 of Brosque, Adrian, Bobo and Ninkovic start on Sunday. They all played 90 minutes in a fast game intense game.

Simon will start. lol

But the excuses are there and ready for Arnie if he doesn't get a positive result. But #AleagueRefs the equaliser.

And waiting for the "well they have something to celebrate this year, but we'll win trophies" line from Brosque like last year. Yet when they win, they rub it in. Such hypocrites.

Arnie will have an excuse if he loses but if we lose where does that leave us ?

4 days break for the smurfs is more than enough  expect them at full strength well rested with business class flights up against one of the worst defences in the a-league .

We are going to have to score 4 to win , shades of the 4-3 at parra after we  flew  back from an ACL away game .

After what I've witnessed in Allianz since Arnie has taken over it will take more than tired Smurfs legs to win there - the red card for Saba in S3, the Sotirio goal not given in S4, Zullo's hand ball in S5, Gillet's masterpiece in October. Yeah, fortress allright...

Can’t see him moving Brillante, weakens two positions in an attempt to cover right back, he wont want to disrupt  his defensive midfield

Well we didn't get Griffiths-Jones, Gillett, Beath or Barreiro as the ref. We get Peter Green again but Griffiths-Jones as VAR. We also get Goldrick as one of the assistants.  Wonder what Gazmon would make of that team?

Arnie has still name Zullo in the squad. Must have been Moss who submitted the squad list. There have be changes

Smurf back 7 could be

......................Redmayne

Retre.......Buijs.....Wilkinson......Carney

..............Brillante........O'Neill

Bridge on Retre and Ikonomidis on Carney. Perhaps we will see Cejudo against Brillante and Carrusca on O'Neill.  Brillante is on 4 yellows and Arnie won'twant him to be suspended against the Jets in the following round.

well yeah, that's why I said #AleagueRefs are the equaliser ;)

We are all expecting a dodgy call to go their way and shift the game's momentum. It happened in Rd3 with Carney's non penalty.

Then Foxe decided to not use his bench and we died in the arse in the 60th. That game was ours to lose and we almost did. I still blame Foxe more than partially for that result.

Watch Carney dive and have the commentators call it "experience"

I think it was DamnedUnited who said in a previous post that the way it was going they would get rid of referees and have drones who would taser naughty players....ESFC would be decimated after a half of football...lol

Always out...Ive never been to a smurf home game and I never probably will...**** giving those ****s any of my money...i'd sooner donate it to a bronzed Arnie statue

We'll win....I'm hoping for a Reira/ Ikon/Carrusca masterclass so Slater and co can whinge on foxsports about how unfair it was for the a-league's greatest ever to have to play more than once a week....

Hopefully but there is a rugby union the night before.

The classic Carney manoeuvre, play with the back to goal, get the ball at his feet, wait until an opposition player marks up and then fall forward claiming a push in the back.

For all you taking a "principled" stand and not showing up for the best Derby in three years good luck Monday morning nursing your regrets. Or you can get over it and get to the damn game and put in a good shift.

This. Ahh well filters out a few flogs
