Is Arsenal FanTV coming?

Robbie & his cameraman are definitely coming down under. Not sure about the characters that he interviews on a regular basis

I'm sure he can find plenty of local Eurosnobs to provide similar comedy.

Hey @mack, what's the deal with the date being mm/dd/yyyy? Has it always been like that in other match records and I've only just noticed?

Who needs Arsenal TV? We've got Facebook fans.

It will be good to see the boys run around again.

Ah thank you. I didn't notice.

Turns out there is a setting that sets the location for the site for the new version that I wasn't aware of and it defaulted to USA hence M/D/Y (silly mericans). The old reports were d/m/y but it was set manually on the record.

Should be fixed now.

I don't think sbs are broadcasting the awful at all!!!!!

So 80k for both games in total as in half empty stadium for both games?

I saw a report of A cat tickets going cheap.  If so nobody should buy a ticket to these games in future until a week or two prior.

Or a novel idea.  Put the tickets on at sensible prices in the first place for what is just a pre-season warm up a against a Europa league team from Europe who will be barely interested in playing other than ensuring there's no injuries.

The tweet said "Crowds" as in plural so probably both games.

I reckon you are right.  Why else would they do this:-

  • Additional Level 1 seating has been installed at ANZ Stadium to meet the demand for tickets to see the FA Cup Champions against Sydney FC (Thursday 13 July) and Western Sydney Wanderers (Saturday 15 July);

This is also in the linked page.

"Both blockbusters are tracking toward a full house of more than 80,000 fans. Good seats to both games are still available here."

It'll be interesting to see what kind of "active support" for WSW actually shows up. I can't imagine a lot of the RBB diehards would fork out $60 for a friendly against an EPL team.

Or they're only bringing players who will be part of the club for the upcoming season?

Just got a freebie to this. My mate asked around when he thought he might get some and every single one of the regular members I go with was "whatevs, if we get a freebie we get a freebie, we're more interested in catching up during the off-season than the game". The only reason it ended up being me is because I had planned something with the ticket giver that day anyway, so I got it by default.

We'll be in the members, taking the tickets of dudes who go to the NRL and other assorted events there. Gonna be interesting. 80k. If they don't all sound like North London twats then football fans in Sydney need to take a long look at themselves.

My only hope for the game itself - no injuries. Actually, maybe Popa could give Borda a run in this game. We might get lucky.

Why bother going if you're only going to get shouted at by ****wit arsenal fans who bought tickets to the rbb section for being too loud.

Tell your mate I'm very disappointed in him.
