and you can make it back in time for Everton vs Liverpool on SBS

I’m contemplating if to venture out to watch the game or if to watch in my usual merseyside derby position, foetal position behind the couch.

Whenever I go out and I always end up arguing with some kopite in a Liverpool shirt who couldn’t find Liverpool on a map much less have ever been there. I really am a bellend

As voiced in our last statement, we have given both the club and FFA time to hear us out in regards to the state of active support. Up until now we have not heard from the FFA nor club management. Only club staff have reached out and stated the following are proposed to be put in place for the remainder of the season

- removal of capo stand
- capo ban for swearing during a chant remaining in place
- potential dismissal of club marshalls
- increase police and hatamoto presence for remainder of the season

As a result, we have taken the decision to not attend games for the rest of the season. Whilst this decision burns us to our core as we live for the badge and colours of this club, this decision has been made in order to reconvene with all stakeholders during the off season to come back bigger and stronger next season.

It’s through these increasing restrictions that active support is suffering and nearing non existence. We encourage all to support the team how they sit fit, however, due to the increasing measures taking by various managements, there will be no organised active support during the remainder of this A league season (including any potential finals).

Primus shenanigans

Given the current state of things, the next la Banda tune should probably be based off Primus’ Sgt. Baker:

I will **** your personality
Pummel you with my own philosophy
Strip you of your self-integrity
To make you all just a bit like me
I said right, left, right, left

Well Perth winning last night means that we absolutely have to win.  Had they lost, then we could have drawn tonight and still made the finals if we had beaten Adelaide and Perth beaten Brisbane.

Now if we end up on 31 after today, then we cannot get ahead of both Perth and Brisbane next week, because a Perth win will put them on 35 and a draw would put Brisbane on 34.

So, will Johnny play defensively, knowing two draws will get him there?  Or will he see us as the easier game compared to Perth away and try to put it to bed tonight?  Knowing him, I'd say that he'll go for the win.  But it's interesting that he does have the option of holding on for a draw if we are on top near the end (roared home by the amazing atmosphere that there will no doubtedly be!). That's a luxury we do not have.

Anyway, all this just to come 6th. Who really cares?

With no active support turning up and whether or not the team turns up. A giant stadium with no noise will feel like a home game for Brisbane.

As well as having beaten only one team above us on the table all season, unless you count the wins in Round 1 V Perth and Round 14 V Brisbane who  are both ahead of us now but not when we played them.

I think Brisbane will win 2 - nil  (without knowing our starting line up)

But I'll still be at the ground supporting and hoping I'm wrong.

Think they will suffocate our attack in the first half knowing we are a paper tiger in the second. They would be pleased to go into the second at nil all or equal.

All we need to do is play like we did for the majority of the match against Victory.

Yes but do it for 90 odd minutes not 45 then hit the self distruct button
