We could have had 3 by half time and they should have had one. a propper game. Its starting to gel but jets are dangerous. Riera having a good defensive game. Snake saving the day again though

They were gnashing at our heels last 10 minutes.

Gonna need another goal. Can’t see us keeping them out another 45

Who knows.

They had two camera angles, neither of which were side on. So any footage was impacted by parallax error. Hence why the first view from the right of the players he looked clearly onside. And why their second zoomed in angle (found 5 minutes later) looked marginally offside.

But no clear error.

The team played for the whole 90 min. We were the better side. A win would of been great but a point was a fair result. So many chances. Should of been 2 0r 3 up at the end of the first half. The most I've enjoyed Spotless. Crowd was fantastic. Lol Topor...gifted 2 pens to his former club. We played some great football. Have to tighten the defensive lapses. Wow, Ikonomidis is a good player.  How good was Nabbout's goal......great strike. Hope the form continues next week. COYW..!

Just back from the game and a few observations. Much better atmosphere with a small crowd at spotless than ANZ, but still too far from the action (aisle 253). But only 10.5K crowd on a Friday night makes you wonder where the other 3rd of the Wanderers members are. The team ran out of steam after the first half. Gambou appears to have no idea as to when to sub players. Roly is past his prime and shouldn't be a starting player. Too many long range shots from Defenders who can't shoot (especially Risdon!).

Overall there is a clear improvement from 3-4 weeks ago but we need to do more if we are to make the finals. One thing is clear from this match and  the recent ACL matches is that the level of fitness of players is sub par. Compared to AFL, NRL and even Rugby, our players are not at the peak of fitness and questions have to be asked about the quality of our fitness coaches.

Still can't believe risdon fluffed that chance that went wide Infront of goal **** me imagine if reira was in that position he would of had a neat finish far bottom corner that chance still in my head

It appeared on the TV that he tried to hit Riera on the head but the pass didn't connect.  It probably would have been better if he just took the shot.

Not a bad game but ruined once again by the VAR. We had some good moments and in the end should have won. Some of the misses were harder to miss than to score.

The good points Ikono and great to see Riera keep his composure. Although we dropped off  in the 2nd there was still some fight.

The bad : the defense ....and lack of concentration after the 2nd pen. Bridge looks off pace and why not put in Santa in the last 10 min.

just back in, bastard getting out of car park tonight, kind of disappointed and yet happy, great 90 plus minutes of sport had everything but a red card, came away entertained, sooo many talking points.

among all the chances spurned tonight, Cjeduo on 85 minutes blasting over the bar from six yards is the one sticking in my mind on replay, if only if only if only...............

oh and thanks skipper NTS for the 2 pens, still red & black really...:-)
