Play Clisby instead of Hamill.

Hamill is a liability. A disaster waiting to happen.

Ive got a Billy Bragg song in my head now

subs: hall, Clisby, lustica, jumpei, santa

Aspro and risdon to come back should knock hamill and Clisby out of the squad too.

Rishdon on international duties.

Whole new ball game with Popa not here anymore

Will be very interesting to see how the interim coaches shape the team

I expect a narrow win for us, or a draw

In terms of food... well, if nothing's open then *sigh*

Hopefully fox isn’t afraid to change the structure we completely dominate teams but can’t find the back of the net

I wonder if we will try Herd on the right and Lustica in midfield whilst Risdon in unavailable

It will be interesting to see if Jumpei starts. You would think of all the popa favs he would be the most nervous right now. In a way I hope he scores a hat full and in a way I hope he doesn't.

It will be an intriguing weekend. I'm curious to see how the Jets and CCM perform. Ditto the Roar and citeh.  I'm not sure you can read too much into the big blue what with Vics missing 3 key players . I think it could be a close season from 1 through to 8

Life feels good again, even better if we win on Sunday.

Referee has been announced.

We do NOT get Jarred Gillett, Chris Beath or Kris Griffiths-Jones.

We get Daniel Elder.

I've put a cheeky couple on Roar for the spoon at $9.50, i think they'll go well early on but may struggle with an older squad as the grind kicks in mid season

Well must be nearly A league season as a few spots of rain falling on my lunch break...nothing breaks a dry spell or drought like the mention of a WSW HAL game.

I chopped off my longish hair yesterday and now sporting a short back and sides that has not been as short or sharp since season 1, i have a good vibe.

Let it rain, let it pour....

Usually the latter but anyway......

Can't see anything but a popa style line up while Foxe is coaching. For 2 or so weeks there would be no point trying to implement something new. Personnel maybe one or two but not formation.

Today's mission

  1. Avoid spending money on any shite food or drink at Soulless...rather pick up a post-game kebab back in the Riff
  2. Get the new season home shirt personalised with Capt Corny's name & number
  3. Survive my first RBB experience for many a month
  4. Watch the boys win under Dougie and hopefully see Oriel, Fat-Head & Santa bring some goals

ok I have done some research into possibly decent pre-match food options near the Olympic Park Station

I've narrowed it down to:

  • Thai Palate
  • Ribs and Rumps
  • Hi Thai

Basically all the other shops were 'ehhh', or not open :nono::smurfnono::smurfpoint:

Any other ideas? Or just get off at Lidcombe and eat there

Food at SOP is crap. Lidcombe is okay if your keen for asian type food.

My way to solve this problem is to have food before I make my trip to the game. If I want to have a few drinks I will stop over the pubs at lidcombe. Cheaper than SOP and full strength.
