I put in another thread, both Finkler and Durante are supposed to be injured and won't be playing. Read somewhere else that Vince Lia is trialling witb Adelaide but who knows?

William Hill have framed a market for all games, whilst the other outlets are being cautious & are yet to list their markets.

WSW 2.15 - This is a mistake, (Xmas in July special), just keep putting in on.

DRAW 3.60

NIX 2.75 - Should be $4 or longer.

Just a quick heads-up for those traveling by train. There's weeknight track work on the line up through Cabramatta/Fairfield through to Granville. Last train is at 21.21 so cutting it a bit fine !! There are alternative options after this but be prepared for a long trip home.

Preferred starting 11?

                 Riera

      Bridge Roly Sotirio

           Herd Baccus

Clisby Aspro Corn Risdon

                Vedran

Bench: Hall (GK), Jumpei, Santa, Lustica, Thwaite

Bridge won't play any part on Tuesday night. He's a few weeks away from being match fit.

Jumpei & Sotirio will most likely be our starting wingers, with Majok taking the bench spot.

Did Sotirio get a suspension for his red card against Brisbane? If so does he miss FFA Cup games or A-League?

I believe this is correct.

This is incorrect.

A-League regulations state the player sent off missed A-League or FFA Cup games, whichever comes first.

Since we lost the game he got sent off in, the next match is this FFA Cup match.

Ah well, change to a 442 with no wingers then ;)

We have enough midfielders to do a diamond. Our fit wingers are crap anyway.

If we don't win this comfortably, questions will be raised.

I think we need to come back down to earth a bit...it's the first game of the season, a knockout game, and without our best starting XI (same for them).

It's entirely possible that we play well but lose. I'm not going to be panicking whatever the result of this game.

nothing less than the domestic treble will please me this season. Our squad is filled midway through July. Never been done before and no other team is finalised yet.

Nix are a shambles. If we don't dominate there is something wrong.

"it's a long season"

"we're still gelling"
