nothing like a kick to the balls in public while everyone laugh's at you, enough about my last family gathering though

Can you move this to the dating thread

its actually quite relaxing cause we can just watch without having to worry about the result

But you know that they will show something in the first 30 minutes just to get our hopes up and then get belted so we feel even worse...

Where have you been?

We were stomping SFC before the ‘incident’ and kept up with Victory. This is different, Perth going to plough us

As we grow into the game without conceding, we get better, however once we concede, the floodgates open....

conceding 3 at minimum tonight.

Squad in. Vedran dropped.

Yeboah, Roly, Kamau, Fitz, Baccus, O'Doherty, Tarek, Hamill, Tass, Russell, Suman

Bench: Janjetovic, Cordier, Sotirio, Hamazi, Majok.

Sounds like Ziggy has taken a game off because of his injury. Yeboah up front, Roly LW, Kamau LW, Fitzgerald apparently playing attacking mid.

Perth:

Chianese, Keogh, Ferreira, Neville, Brimmer, Juande, Franjic, Grant, Lowry, Mrcela, Reddy

Subs: Davidson, Kilkenny, Castro, Santalab and whoever their sub keeper is.

Well, I wanted to see the kids play. What's the average age of this starting 11?

What exactly do you like? Front 3 ok, but defensive mids, and our back line together with a young inexperienced keeper up against the runaway leaders. What exactly do you? The youth getting a go, or the actual lineup has a chance of a win?

it doesnt matter who we play we have zero chance but i like some young talented players getting a go, riera has been useless so i am glad he didnt make the trip, janjetovic has made too many mistakes and i am glad he is having a rest for a younger keeper, i mean look at most of our squad its not like we have tonnes of talent in there

Sad that Cordier is not starting and Roberts not on the bench.

Vedran obviously getting the WTF treatment for his recent brain snaps

We don't have a lineup that has a chance of winning.

Their bench attackers are better than our currently available starters.

Ok, yeah Im glad youth is getting a go. The senior squad clearly isn’t good enough. Would like them to get blooded one by one like Babbel is doing rather all at once, even if our senior guys are rubbish it really can destroy a young kids confidence being thrown in together with other kids and copping a drubbing.

that is a good point confidence is such an important thing in football so hopefully that doesnt happen, overall i think it will be a good learning experience but only time will tell

Last time we fielded an inexperienced squad like this (against SFC last season), we got smashed. Not sure I'll be holding my breath hoping for a result tonight. Just praying that I'm wrong.

Babbel has managed to at least stagger their introductions somewhat.

Tass has been in and around the first team already anyway, clearly Babbel has realised that we can't play Tarek in central defence again, we've only got 3 central defenders now that Tongyik is gone, so when Ziggy gets hurt, the choice is either play Tarek at CB again (which because Llorente is being frozen out will mean two young players at both fullback positions), or just play our 3rd central defender.

Llorente is a liability defensively so there's no point playing him at all, so he introduced Russel now that Risdon is out of the country. Nizic showed he's useless in the FFA Cup, and since Vedran can't seem to go two games without making a calamitous error, Suman is getting another shot. Majok has been rotated a few times into the attacking lineup, and now we've got Cordier on the bench as the sub fullback.

Tokich & Grozos were both floating around the midfield roles but they had some injuries, and Baccus/O'Doherty has probably been the better of all the parts of our team. But they will probably get more games later in the season. John Roberts & Majok might get more time in attack depending on how Bridge comes back into the side and how long Riera & ABJ are out for.

While other teams have marquees, quality visa players It  just occurred to me we will field a team tonight with no marquee and only one visa player in the entire squad! Bonevacia. Surely that has to be a competition record? Only one visa player in the entire match day squad. God help us

We'd have to be fielding one of the cheapest on field starting team line-ups in a-league history.
