No Riera....no worries......lol

(I think with his recent lack of outright pace Riera would make a good defensive midfielder.)

The ref had basically decided before the game started he was going to card Baccus.

3 fouls spread out over 45 minutes is not worthy of a card. 15 minutes per foul. It's not like any of them were SFC style professional fouls breaking up counter-attacks, and we haven't been rotating fouls to disrupt the opposition ball recycling, they were two fouls competing for the ball in midfield, and the 3rd wasn't a foul in the first place, and it was on the centre-line a minute before half-time.

Just another example of the **** officiating in Australia.

And since Ferreira, keep an eye out if he gives away a foul in the second half, see if the ref gives him a card or not.

Wow, I'm loving our 1st half performance. Is this game really 1st v 8th?!? Seems more like 3rd v 4th. Either Perth are massively overrated, or we have the makings of a halfway decent team.

Not gonna get too cocky for the 2nd half. I know from experience that Popa can fire up a team in the break.

But very happy with the game so far, and hopefully Perth start getting punished for all the fouls, knocks and hits to the back of the head that have gone unpunished so far.

Made a reference to basketball to the 4th offical.

I usually use netball as a reference for the way aleague refs use the whistle

By the way

Kamau >>>> Sotirio

If no one told you who was the socceroo right back and who was the 3 game it would be hard to tell. Don’t think we have missed Risdon at all, early days for him but Russell has stepped up and not looked out of his depth. Thoughts??

Absolutely. Youth is always a little inconsistent but he's definitely shown he can step up.

Vedran should not play again I’ve seen enough of this keeper to proclaim he’s a better option

Suman's doing a great job thus far but he drops the ball quite a bit and kicks it out a lot. Still only 18yo so he's excused.

Strange sub IMO. No issue with fresh legs but Baccus, who has been great given, Is on a yellow card & looking like a walking red card.

Fiitzy was shot

So Suman gets clattered into by Davidson and he was offside and made a play at the ball. But VAR spends 30 seconds reviewing and let's it go.

Perhaps Riera has been playing injured
