Would feel more confident about this with Tass and Baccus but it is what it is. Hopefully the players that come in lift for this as it could end up being a very important 3pts. Expecting a back 4 of Llorente, Elrich, Hamill, Tate

The nix's play maker Singh is suspended.

You won't see Kamau on the left it will be Llorente or Valenti.

However, can't believe Grozos is not in the ins which are

7.Nick FITZGERALD (promoted), 10.Alex BAUMJOHANN (promoted), 24.Raul LLORENTE (promoted), 40.Nicholas SUMAN (promoted), 42.Andrea AGAMEMNONOS (promoted), 43.Adrian VALENTI (promoted)

I've never been to Wellington, but I do know that the Nux fans are some of the friendliest and most welcoming you'll meet. If you need a pre drink venue, get in touch with the Yellow Fever and they'll invite you along to their drinking hole (and treat you like family).

At the back it's going to be a patch job, a best effort, but it looks like he is aiming for a Mahazi/GG midfield combo.

Three guys off to the U23. Ziegler, Risdon, Tokich, Cordier out injured, no mention of Sotirio, Bridgey has muscle problems - that's almost an entire team unavailable. When you Fitzgerald and Raul are getting are named in the match day squad then you know things are dire.

---

“We have not many players anymore. We have to find out who is fit, who can play 90 minutes, and then we will find a system and a team who can win or get a result in Wellington.”

[Three players leaving to for the U23] "is a disaster for us. We try to bring young players in the A-League, and the thanks from the league is they take the players away. […] You want to see young players in the A-League, but you have to think twice next time if you bring so many young players here in, because there is a period where you can’t use them.”

“The good thing is that Rashid looks stronger and stronger. [GG] looks good, he also thinks he can start, but I don’t know how long. This is my problem I have now. I don’t know if [Mahazi and GG] can play 90 minutes, but this is what we see on Sunday.

Haven't heard of this guy before, is he from the Youth team?  Can anyone kindly provide a profile?

plum cafe on cuba street has good food and make great bloody mary for the morning after, as for pubs, the churchill and the old bailey are good english and irish pubs respectively. old bailey food is also good.

Does anyone remember those days when a game against the nix was like shooting fish in a barrel! I'm concerned our backline has the capacity to serve up a ccm result. If our mids can not control this game then we will be punished. Rudan will look to be equally ruthless this game. Our frontline can not afford to squander anything.

Yeah I'd recommend you go to the backbencher which is where the yellow fever hang out, they'll be friendly - it's just across the road from the New Zealand parliament and near the stadium. Hopefully they still meet there someone could confirm.

Otherwise Wellington's got a lot of bars on Courtney place and Cuba street and lots of craft breweries and craft beer if that's your thing.

In the paper Ladbrokes calling Wellington victory a "safe bet" at $2.00.  Anyone know what we are paying?  I can't look it up at work.

I agree. I would rather see Roly in a more defensive position, and Treejack as AM reconnecting with the BL player he once was. We live in hope.

Not to mention the scary possibility of Llorente on the field and Elrich our of position surely GG plays at centre back, which means Elrich stays at left back

vedran

elrich gg Hammil tate

Mahazi Roly

duke abj yeboah

       Reira

this football manager thing is easy isn’t it

Am i the only person who reads the word 'mentality' in the voice of the announcer from the game Mortal Kombat?

WSW take a good lead and look comfortable

"FINISH HIM!"

Game finishes as a draw or loss

"Mentality"

Didn't until now! LOL

Considering the news coming out of Christchurch, this game is quite insignificant, all of a sudden.

Agree FCB; It is only a game after all.  But I also think one of the reasons football is so popular all around the world is that it helps take peoples minds off the bad things going on in their lives and around them.

There will be a minutes silence.

Have looked at the NPL squad for tonight. Valenti is nominated but no Kosta Grozos not nominated. Could Kosta be partying in Wellington with Andrea Agamemnonos

Grozos picked up another injury, don't expect him back this season.

Sotirio is fit again, but behind Duke, yeboah, bridge, kamau, and probably majok in the pecking order.

If he ever gets on the park!  We've been promised this legendary young player who will rip it up but all he seems to have done is rip his body up and spend the season in the sick bay.  Is this typical of his career to date?
