Supposed to be a cool change later today 26 degrees tomorrow

The cool change (southerly) isn't due until tomorrow.

For the record, last night at 8.00 pm at Olympic Park is was 28.8 deg's C. Today is meant to be hotter.

It all depends on when the sea breeze reaches far enough inland to cool things down a tad.

I imagine it'd be the first game we played in Penrith.

W-League would be Penrith as well, we played a game there in one of the early seasons that was so hot it should have been postponed, except for being an ABC television game so they didn't, they still did two drinks breaks per half I believe. It would have been one of the hottest games ever played in the A-League, W-League or NYL. In December there was a Perth vs Smurfette game that was so bad they also had two drinks breaks AND the referee couldn't continue in the second half because of the heat.

Ahhhh yes the Penrith game...my shadow was burnt in to the wall there and not seen it since...that was bloody hot.

The hottest A-League game I’ve ever experienced was around this time back in either 2014 or 13. It was an away game down in Melbourne and was our first game against Victory in Melbourne since the Bourke Street brawl. It was about 44 deg all day, we had a police walking guard the whole way to AAMI park from the pub cause they were worried about retaliation and it took about 30 mins to walk to the ground. It was still 39 deg at 7:30pm as the game kicked off. I reckon I lost about 2-3kg in sweat that day and I was wearing a singlet, boardies and thongs haha. When we got back to our hotel at midnight it was still 36 deg. Some of the hottest weather I’ve ever experienced

It's 34 degrees at olympic park right now. The temperature has actually gone up since 3pm. Wind is picking up.

If we were playing in Penrith it'd be 40 degrees at kickoff.

Stuff the weather, I need a win. I'm sick of losing.

The hot topic should be the starting backline. I wouldn't mind seeing Hamill go to left back with Zeigler and Tas in the middle and Russell on the right. Elrich is just way to slow (especially in this heat) but would be handy cover off the bench.

Could we stick Cordier in left back with Zig and Tass in the centre and Russell on the right? As much as i like Hamill he just isnt up to scratch to be our go to CB let alone captain, he needs to step up if he wants to keep that spot and sooner rather than later or i think he might be goneeeeeeeeeee

You know where I want to feel the most heat during this game? From the god damn midfield! I want isais to signal for rectinol at half time.

Mumford and Sons concert next door. I wonder which one Wendy is going to.

It's not too bad in the stadium especially when the wind is blowing.

Yeah the club Facebook posted the lineup as a back 3/5. No Zeigler at all and Fitzgerald and Vedran on the bench.

I doubt anyone at the start of the season would have ever picked this as our starting lineup.

No...Riera, Baumjohhan, Bridge, Zeigler, O'Doherty, Baccus Jr.....cheering for the team but not hopeful.
