Note 1: WSW scored early with Muller heading home after a deflection. Adelaide equalised with a short range cut-back and tap in. Mitch Duke was lucky not to get sent off after 25 minutes for a kick out. Muller scored his and the team's second with a magnificent long-range header assisted by Georgievski, Mo Adam got the 3rd with a lucky rebound off an Izzo save after getting through on goal. Ziegler's foul gave Adelaide a penalty that George Blackwood scored. In the 96th minute Adelaide were given another penalty from a Georgievski "handball" but Blackwood blazed it over the bar to end the game.
