Petratos must be stopped and we need to man mark Hoffman out of the game.

If that happens, a 3 or 4 goal win as the Jets defence is suspect with Boogaard and NTS against pace with Yeboah, Duke, and Muller

Pretty much this. Of Jurman is fit it would be good to see Ziggy in DM but I suspect Baccus might be the man for this job with the extra speed.

I can’t see a reason Meier should be on the pitch in the first 70 minutes. Yeboah has finally found his rhythm

This is the kind of game we should be winning 3-0.

I can see Hoffman somehow becoming a superstar against us yet again.

Hope not. Man-marking in defence is called for.

I totally get that the standard of refereeing in the A League is absolutely farcical, but ....... I also don't want to keep using that as an excuse every other week.

It's really a simple solution.... our boys just need to be CLINICAL  in front of goal.

Our boys need to remain calm and be confident to play our own game.

Everything else is secondary.

Oh the ref is crap

Oh the field is crap

Oh the weather isn't ideal.

No more of that.

It's like we keep putting the bandage on before the injury so to speak.

Create the chances and be CLINICAL

That's all.

Well if there is a worse ref than Beath, it's definitely Kurt Ams

At least Alex King won't do a KGJ and make **** calls

Faghani must be elsewhere either at the Gulf Cup or the Southeast Asian Games as he does not have an A-league game.

Not good enough at this stage of the season.

We need to stamp our authority.

Agreed we need a 3 goal win and preferably with a clean sheet.

(If based in Sydney) I guess that 7.30 can be endured if travelling to Gosford, but Newcastle? Even on a Saturday night the kick-off time will limit the size of the travelling crowd.

So reports are Meier off the bench again? I saw Babbel saying he is 36 and this needs to be taken into consideration. Why waste a marquee spot on a player that is being used off the bench? Ridiculous. I'm a Babbel fan but this makes zero sense to me.

Meier has been ill this week and so even just being on the bench is not certain.

Has reportedly had back issues from the hard surfaces. If you watch him closely in the City game he was struggling with it. I think the large break he had, late to pre-season and rushing to get fit is taking it's toll on his older body. I hope we can see his best but hes going to have to be managed like this. Obviously if he does not come good you"re right, it was a big risk.

I think I'd drop Meier this week until he can make a full recovery from is back injury

His fitness doesn't seem to be there yet

I'd go with this line up for tomorrow

Yeboah - Duke - Kamau

Muller

-Pirmin - Baccus -

Georgevski - Jurman - McGowan - Elrich

Lopar

Subs: Suman, Tass, Wilmering, Ziegler, Sullivan, Adam

My opinion only, Ziegler for McGowan Ziegler needs match fitness to find out how good he is.

Wilmering dominate his area last week leave alone Jurman coming in will help a lot

Cant Decide between Baccus and Sullivan I think Baccus is better in attack and Sullivan better defender ?

Yeboah - Duke - Kamau

Muller

Pirmin - Baccus or Sullivan, he was good last week

 *Wilmering - Jurman - *Ziegler - *Georgevski

Lopar

Subs: Suman, Tass, Elrich, Ziegler, McGowan,  Sullivan, Adam
