I'll be watching soaking wet from Kogarah, and wouldn't want it any other way!

The "Cox derby"

Its going to be interesting. We will prob get the train to Carlton as closer to the ground. I think the special goes to Kogarah only as a bigger station for a train to terminate without blocking the way. Carlton will be an easier walk.

Digging out the waterproof jacket not worn since Millwall away Dec 2017....

It's going to be a mud bath tomorrow. A real leveller. Be like watching a winter game in the 70s at the Baseball Ground (for those who know what I'm on about)

Hope so :good: well can only remember the mid 80's onwards...but know what you mean.

Hoping for lots of hard sliding tackles and a generally filthy bad natured quagmire of a game. Ball gets stuck in the mud in the penna area and we smash it home...will do me...

Loving all the calls of being after 'revenge', they can have all the revenge in the world, hey, have a nice revenge sandwich, but it still wont remove that taste from your mouth that your perfect season will again be ruined by us

I'm 99.99% sure the Council will close the ground regardless of what the A-League wants.

My wife works there, they had meetings about it today

A few seasons ago where we were the only team who beat them all season felt so good

Praying the game is on. I have a feeling it will be on but really unsure. The pitch is supposedly well drained but at "holding level". Currently not raining there atm by the looks of things. Inspection at either 10:30 or 12 I think. You would think they would keep it to as late as possible.

I mean remember when the trains broke down at the Vedran f up derby and the pitch was heavily waterlogged. And then the derby where Redmayne parried the ball and it stopped dead on the floor because of the rain and Riera scored. Its a bloody derby seriously just keep the bloody game going.

I really hope its not postponed because it just gives the government further ammo to abandon suburban grounds.

They've already decided to upgrade ANZ & replace SFS (assuming that doesn't remain a whole in the ground) so if there's any future stadium investment it'll probably a race of various NRL clubs to convince the State Govt to bypass the local councils who own the rest of the stadiums in Sydney.

Meh I’d rather us play finals football and win stuff

we take joy from being the only team to beat them, I’d probably rather the joy from being the team to only lose once all season

Everton meet all my plucky underdog needs, I want us to win stuff
