Swap Kamau and Georgevski. I suspect we will return to a 3 at the back though.

I'm sure he'll play Jurman if fit instead of either McGowan or Zeigler. Kamau and Georgievski to switch sides and most probably Yeboah will start ahead of Adam.

It's understandable that Meir and Muller are not at their best considering their lack of games but I'm disappointed in Yeboah so far this season. Expecting much more of him tbh. He scored a lovely goal against Leeds, first touch and finish but has looked like an NPL player since. Our defence is OK and Ziggy will just get better so not too worried if Jurman is out this week. I am hoping Muller has his best game to date to show he is on the upward trajectory and also the answer to our creative issues. This is my biggest worry for the season, who is going to pull the strings in midfield? Still not convinced we have the necessary talent here.

So did I....apparently still a week to go...Meier may not start either....?

Babs never gives away too much during the week.

Duke and Adam up front would be good. Delbridge is pretty mobile for a big unit, I can’t see Meier making a huge amount of space around him, and he’s sure as **** not winning headers over Delbridge.

Yeboah to the bench hopefully. Seems like he needs a few weeks to get the fire back. He’s been pretty bloody average.

Hopefully Kamau is back to fitness so Georgevski can line up on galloway. Our only real attacking threat at the moment is Georgevski and he’s got the wood over his opponent on the left.

Pretty Spot on. If Meir is 100% id definitely start him though. Adam for Yeboah if we go 352. Otherwise front 3 of Duke/Meir/Muller.

Baccus will be very important in this game. By important i mean if he does not put on his big boys shoes and step up in defense and in possession then he will be a turnstile all match.

Yeboah started good in FFA cup and pre-season but start of season injury makes his prep interrupted. I hope after the break we see Yeboah back to his old self

Yup. But unfortunately you need to be better to keep your spot esspecially with the way Adam is going.

One thing that has gone against Yeboah is that he is not a wide player. His best games for us have seen him as the most central player in attack, whether that be in a front 2 or 1 up top. With Meir he will always be asked to make runs down the sideline and that's where he just does not know what to do with the ball.

If i was the coach, i'd be telling Yeboah in those wide positions play it simple, quick one-two's, early passes and goes, don't try beat your man, and when in the box drive and shoot. Otherwise I'd like to see Meier peel off to a wing occasionally and getting some pace in behind with Duke and Yeboah off a Meier flick on or through ball.

He’s never had a great touch, he’s just dangerous when you move the ball fast. We have been completely devoid of that element since rd2. Even against Leeds, when we attacked it was rapid.

Having no #10 in the team is going to hurt him.

With the ridiculous levels of smoke up there currently is there any danger of this game being called off?

Smoke is usually worse on a morning to early afternoon, the sea breeze usually kicks in and that usually gets up to Parra. Forecast is for a south easterly to come in the afternoon which should clear it. Tomorrow morning may be similar to today though. Outside chance of a thunderstorm tomorrow afternoon but prob wont make it to Parra.

Game should be ok.

Good !!  I don't fancy a 4 hour drive/overnight stay for a postponement !!

I think it's wonderful having a weather forecaster called "Smoggy" giving a weather report on smoke haze and related.

where do you travel from MT??   This is a seaosn defining game, we have been bang average all season and somehow have accumulated enough points to be up near the pointy end, this week after a week off will tell us where we are at City have played brilliantly in patches and very poor in patches often in the same game but they have always managed to score and with 3 in each of their last 3, if they do that again with the way our attacke is going we simply cannot win.  We need to restrict them to 1 to have any chance unfortunately.

Not sure about the season defining part....six games in out of 27.....but, I get your point. Still.....We held the Roar goaless....City didn't and lost. The team for WSW on Friday will be vastly different to the injury ravaged side that took the field against City in the FFA Cup. I agree we have been average in attack....but we have also been good in defence. Barring Jurman we are near full strength at home.I think we'll get a positive result.
