If we go into the break level and can keep 11 on the park then we are a massive chance.  If it had not been for send offs in both their last two games the back half of their games would of been a lot closer.  There will be plenty of chances in the last 10minutes as both teans I reckon are probably the unfittest in the league atm.  We will score 2 as their defence looks shaky and Babbel will exploit ABJ's and others lack of defensive effort, the question will be is 2 enough?

Are they selling GA tickets called 'RBB seating' to ensure it doesn't look so sparse in the RBB standing area?  As folk tend to move close together in the middle of the standing area it leaves gaps at the outer.

Was reading the ABJ thread and his antagonistic, patronising comments towards us.  The interesting thing is that there would only be 2-3 players on the park who played with him last year.  No-one else will know him or understand his puerile, egotistic manner - or care.

He definitely has skill but only on his terms and when he wants.  They will probably target our left side (if Wilmering) as they did last week with the young Nix player.  Grant will be a handful and make ABJ look much better.  We have to take him down a few times early on - ABJ, that is (although taking Grant out wouldn't hurt either).

With Zullo out with injury, Retre as a makeshift LB doesn't look that crash hot, and Georgievski will put him to the test.

The crowd will I hope.

In the past I have had no issue with anyone from WSW heading to another club. Every one of them has been positive about what they experienced with us and been good with the fans. Likes of Topor, Elrich (when he went to Adelaide), Covic etc...always good for a wave to the RBB or a nice word.

Then there is this arschloch who never really put in the hard yards, and can only bad mouth the club. I hope he gets taken out by Georgievski as per Jerome's hit on Garcia back in the day, and of course knowing Baumjohann he'll probably come back with a few shots of his missus and her fake boobs.

So has anyone warned the cops about antics of the juveniles that are members of the Cove?

I'm hoping that the cops watch their inevitable march from Parra Station and put a few of them up for night.

Wonder if they will try and intercept the RBB march?

Nervous as buggery, very hopeful but at the same time there's the pessimism of knowing how in past seasons we've had dumb football moments, VAR, refs or just bad luck screw us.

I think we can win and believe we have the better team in terms of how we have coalesced, thanks in no small part to the combo of quality imports & a cadre of improving youngsters. Also, and this needs to be considered, hardly any of our current team has the history of losing to the smurfs in derbies. They should be free of the mental burden some of our past players had.

Oh, and we're back at home in our Wanderland, where we will be a sea of red & black. It's a big ask, but we can do it.

at least we dont have vedran anymore

You got specifics about those 'antics'? Let's face it the level of antisocial behaviour has decreased in the last couple of years

Just to confirm, if you are already members, you don't need to purchase tickets. Because I just read somewhere saying tickets were available for the members first before the open public so i'm a bit confused?

You can buy additional tickets for friends, family or bandwagoners. Every members seat is already "sold".

Well watching march under the watchful (wasn't) of the Riot Squad from Olympic Park station to ANZ letting off flares and generally being obnoxious

Remember that the whiny small batch of ESFC fans are calling Vedran and JurMan snakes, WSW fans aren't saying the same about this guy because we're just glad he's not our problem anymore.

Theyre starting to pick up on his laziness, give it a few losses and they'll be throwing beer on him just like they did to Frankie.

With the Derby fast heading towards a sellout, it is interesting to look at the gate takings. Not sure that the home team always takes 100%, but if this were to be the case, at a conservative average ticket price of $40 x 30,000 (minus some corporate freebees) the total take would be around $1.2m. This is a pretty good nest egg if you can get it, and a bit of payback for the owner's investment in the team and training facilities. If they could squirrel some of it away, I would say they were not nuts!

Of course a close to 30,000 crowd would see us at a current season average of around 23,500... certainly the best in Wanderers' history. A much hoped for win would go a long way towards seeing us aim to average over 20,000 a game this season. Our best season was 2016/17 when we averaged 17,746 largely thanks to that all-time record A-League crowd of 61,880 at ANZ for the 8 Oct 2016 Derby.

We may not get to that record crowd height again (well, not at Bankwest), but equally we hope to never drop to the depths of our lowest ever home crowd of 5,067 v the Roar on 10 Nov 2018.

Amazing that sentiment can be turned around so quickly... all in less than a year!

That was my least favorite derby ever. So many just there as a one off, I wouldn't even call them bandwagoners, they were never likely to jump on any bandwagon. I was on an upper level near a whole line of British backpacker types who were arguing among themselves about who they were going to support, us or them. Then there were the people there for the first time that had one kid with a WSW flag and another with a ESFC flag. There were no familiar faces and the whole thing was just plastic in the extreme, I hated it. I know some will say if it managed to win over some people then it was worth it, but I thought the whole experience of that 61,880 derby was dreadful.

The 30,000 at the derby this week will be a millions time better than that effort in 2016 with half the number.

The ref could make a big difference. We get the Iranian, we win.

One of the standard weak, netball style, aleague refs and it's anyone's game (probably theirs). Obviously KGJ is worth a goal or two to them. Our boys will need to keep their cool and not get frustrated.
