If Tuesday nights pathetic performance by coach and players is repeated this will be a massacre. We can only hope they come ready to play.

Do we have to play this....seems brutal.

The good news is if Adelaide beat the Smurfs tonight we have no hope of making the amazingly good and makes the season a success finals series.

So meh! Good to see the boys putting in and improving but expect the same back 5 formation slow ****, play a 442 or 451 with fat cox up front then give sulivan or grozos a start in attacking midfield if no Muller. Can't watch another season of the same formation if this is the plan going forward.

Mathematically still alive in the finals "race" after the Adelaide/Smurfs 1-1 draw.  We just need Adelaide to lose to or draw against Melbourne City, WSW to win both against WU and Melbourne Victory and for Western United to lose or draw in two of their last three non-WSW game.

If all that happens then we finish on 36 points, in front of Adelaide who either have 35 points or 36 and a worse GD than ours, and WUN on something between 35 and 30 points.

Easy.

Grand Final here we come.

It would totally ironic wouldn't it if we did win it considering how crap we have been at times and the teams in S1,S2 and S4 were actual title contenders....and could play....

:D

I'd be happy to see us Bradbury a GF win, no matter how unlikely it is.

We could bring Meier back as a 94th minute super sub (as a keeper, just for the lols).

I wouldn’t give a **** how little we deserve it a finals run would be ace

The problem is even if everybody else fell over we’d decide to turn around and skate the other way

We have become more Everton than Everton

Zeigler has one last chance to redeem himself. Stud Berisha

All is forgiven

For second there I thought the post had something to do with horse breeding

surely that act would also warrant a red card, and I’m not sure if foxtel could show it (at least not before 10pm)

Thankfully there's no VAR, and I'm not looking forward to Bozza's sideline expert commentary on the issue.

For those of us who were at the 'Battle of Kogarah' back in Feb that was as good as the season got...that was as much fun from any WSW season that game...sadly that was the peak. That and nearly getting chucked out of Adelaide's ground in December when the late penna was awarded...great times...

I'd love to stumble into the finals and somehow win the toilet seat. Besides the obvious of watching my team win some silverware and being one step closer to completing the plate, seat, FFA Cup and ACL set, you'd see so many people changing their tune about the finals because it's us. Suddenly the finals series would be stupid and need to be evaluated, how can a team finish sixth in an eleven team comp and win a trophy, etc. It'd be great.

In saying all that, I'm expecting a Berisha hat trick all off Risdon assists. Hamill to make a rare appearance and score from a corner.

I just want to beat Rudan at least once this season. Talk about teams we dropped points along with the Roar games the Fraudsters are where we lost the season

Then Popovic finally wins a grand final by beating us 5-0.

We lost the season because we're not good enough.....it would be just typical that we beat Western tonight then lose to Victory when a play-off spot is still in sight.

Wanderers way would to be in a finals spot in injury time against Vic and then give a stupid penna away.

90+3'

Brenton Speed: "What a brilliant goal that is! Rojas scores after a two foot tackle into the chest from Mcgowan to Nabbout. The penalty is conceded and Rojas slots it home!"

Bozza: "Speedy mate its fu*kn 4-1 to the Wanderers and its a contact sport, leave it to the experts lad"

I'm getting flash backs to the Sotirio sub appearance v Roar in semi.

Comes off bench in about 70th minute gets sent off in 82nd (for being a dickhead)

Lineup: Prendergast, Georgievski, Jurman, McGowan, Ziegler, Russell, Baccus, O'Doherty, Duke, Yeboah, Cox.

Subs: Kamau, Tass, Schwegler, Sullivan, Grozos, Adam, Suman.

What a joke of a lineup. McGowan should have been dropped for his penalty alone, and what was the point of bringing back Schwegler if he's still not ready to play from the start in such a vital game? O'Doherty has been okay but he's been hooked at half-time twice (IIRC) and has been walking a red card tightrope with the refs.
