On loan from Jets. Might be part of the agreement that he can't play against them

Champness couldn't play against the Jets for that reason

I think any of the three results are possible (WSW win, Jets win, Draw)

Historically Jets play well in this away fixture and WSW seem to struggle when playing teams down the ladder

For the optimists who believe we can make something of this season we really need a win here having had 10 days rest

As per previous posts, not having your first choice team ready at Round 1 means you need to pick up what you can now and finish strong

Can the Jets stick to their plan and win again?

Or will the WSW squad be able to control the game?

The cooler weather will help us. Will be a high tempo match imho. They have pace up front. We have to defend well. and take our chances. We let them back into it in the last game after a two goal buffer. I still think we lack a striker. It will be interesting who starts and in what positions up front.

Hoping for a positive result but like @pseudonym says any result is possible.

Ins: 23.Kosta GROZOS (promoted), 34.Patrick ZIEGLER (promoted)
Outs: 40.Noah JAMES (not selected)
Unavailable: 4.Dylan McGOWAN (foot injury), 20.Vedran JANJETOVIC (long term injury), Jordon MUTCH (hotel quarantine)

Any reason why James isn't selected?
Two players are to be omitted from that squad selection as well.

Oliver Kalac replace Noah James, I say he was better at training.

After 3 shite seasons at OP, the scene was set before the beginning of last season for a glorious return to Parramatta and a return to large crowds. Safe standing provided for the RBB and playing in a European style football specific stadium. If we'd had a few successful years before our return and no Covid, we'd be getting regular 15 - 20 000 crowds now.

Yet, poor form last season killed us, and now Covid is making things worse. Such a great opportunity to return to our glory days has been shat upon. Such an unfortunate lost chance to get back to the heady good old days. So disappointing.

Keep cool, we will get there with Robbo as the boss.

@WHACKO......whenever we get done over by VAR I always think of "Crime of the Century" by the same band..!

"Now they're planning the crime of the century
Well, what will it be?
Read all about their schemes and adventuring
Yes, it's well worth a fee "

VAR is NOT Kris Griffiths-Jones

A win of any kind would be nice on this game day.

We would be top of the table for at least 22 hours or 46 hours or till Wednesday or be on top at the end of this Match Week.

But a sweet win would be Stringer's 3-0 win.

I would like to see either that count O'Donovan get a present from the referee for becoming an Aussie, a red card! Short of that Boogaard could get one.

Our forwards need to aim balls at NTS for deflections.

Forecast at Parramatta

Rain before the game

Thunderstorms after the game

Where are you getting the thunderstorms from? There's nothing in the official forecasts from BOM. There's only the chance of a storm tomorrow afternoon.

Speaking of the rain (or more appropriately, drizzle), does anyone know what the umbrella policy is? Are they permitted to be taken into the ground?

Also, I was under the belief that the covid attendance was restricted to 7500 and the PAX reached that yesterday, yet tickets are still on sale.

Finally everyone, don't forget to take your masks. As per the Ticketek/Wanderers advice below and State Govt regulations.

TOP TIPS

  • In line with the NSW Health Order, face masks must be worn when travelling on public transport, entering the venue and at all times when inside, unless consuming food or beverage.

Under Gombau and Babbel we would make this guy look like a combination of Neymar and Ronaldo everytime we played them, as opposed to the stock standard A League run up and down with lots of effort player he is

I’m normally in the upper tier so I’ve never had to worry about the rain, but with the random allocation from ticketek I’m in the third row of the lower tier for this game.

Anyone with experience sitting in that area who can tell me how wet I’m getting tonight (from the rain, not the Cox hat trick).
