Before VAR those are just play on. Now the refs can pick and choose these close challenges and turn them into fouls. If they paid as much attention to what happens at corners there would be 15 of them a game because of holding.

Don't understand the rules. If Bruce went down it's a pen. But if you do the same in mid field you'll get a pen.
