I wonder if the talk about a 5 day lockdown in VIC might postpone this game plus Smurfs travelling to play Western United?

We should win this one on form but were just backing up from Wednesday and no Dorrans plus J Mac still with city. Could this be the game we finally see Jordan Mutch?

Mutch, Muller and Aquilina are in. Dorrans out due to receiving his 5th card.

Muller back is a bonus. I think he may play O'Doherty and depending on the scoreline may give Mutch minutes late in the second half.

Is Anthony Lesiotis injured....? Have yet to sight him.

So if City fly out before midnight the game is on, if they don’t they go into lockdown and game is off?

No word on Melbourne City's travel status, rumours they were sighted at Melbourne Airport a short time ago. 

Sydney FC aren't travelling to face Western United tomorrow, and Newcastle W-League squad are returning to Sydney this afternoon and not playing Melbourne City in Melbourne tomorrow.

Having said that it does let our players recover and Dorrans can serve the suspension against Wellington than the tougher City

This is good.  Gives time for our injured players to return and for Mutch to be involved (maybe Duke as well depending upon when it is rescheduled)

Postponement understandable, but darn was looking forward to going.

Disappointed to miss a Saturday night game but this is good for us. City had three days more rest so that helps us. Plus Muller, Tass and Mcgowan all get more time to recover from injuries. Also it's one less game played while Duke is in quarantine and gives Mutch more time to get up to speed with the squad.

e.g. move Wellington vs WSW to Wednesday then organise another fixture on Saturday (Brisbane away)?

Yeah this...wasn’t confident we would back up tomorrow anyway.
