Zero new cases in Sydney, no lock down, no excuse to call game off / for WU not to travel.

Yep, if WU have concerns they should be in discussion with the VIC government

If the government told WU "If you go to Sydney, you'll need to undergo hotel quarantine" - that would be a reasonable delay to the match

If WU just say "No, we don't feel like it" that should incur fines and a points deduction

in AFL, Essendon have to travel to Sydney to play GWS Giants

They talked to the AFL and asked for the game to be played later on Saturday so they could do a fly in fly out same day schedule

Given the games in hand they have left my guess is they'll be pretty keen to get this one over with.

There's only three and a half weeks left in the home and away season and they still have 6 games to play in that time. They won't be able to fit a rescheduled game in before their away trip to Perth on Wednesday so if they postpone our game they'll have 6 games in 20 days.

I don't think it'll matter anyway. Given no new cases today there would either need to be a bunch of people testing positive overnight or a massive knee jerk reaction from a Premier to stop the game.

See McGowan back in, is CR going to use same as last week or tinker?

Apart from injuries and suspensions...why would you change a winning team.

Diamanti played the whole game in Redcliffe on a soggy pitch.

Hamill, Sanchez, Lustica all on a 1 game suspension with a single yellow card.

They're next game is scheduled against Perth away on Wednesday night.

Ugarkovic trained with the main squad and was part of the midfield training this morning , McGowan started with the main squad this morning but was sent over to the side to train with Cancar and Wilmering , would doubt he will be in the run on team all others looked fit,  Kamau may come on later this week. but trained with full squad.

With Ugarkovic now, I'd like to see a midfield of

DM Dorrans....... DM Ugarkovic

..............AM Baccus

Watching Baccus at times, I think he could do it, certainly looks like he wants to.

Game at Bankwest went ahead last night with 25K in the stadium.

Our game will most likely go ahead if Covid numbers stay near 0 and not over 10.

I went there a few years ago. It was alright. Not as much variety as other Korean bbqs I've been to. It may have changed over the past few years though, so probably give it a go.

When we last played Brisbane at home we were chasing the game so Baccus was playing as more of an attacking midfielder. That was his best part of the game. Toward the end we took Dorrans off for Muller, pushing Baccus back and he had much less impact.

I'd love to see the same starting line up as v SFC, except bring Ugarkovic in for Mutch. No that Mutch did anything wrong, Ugarkovic will do a better job at distributing the ball forward. He and Dorrans are the future, the future starts now.

Not very keen to see the formation we played for the last 20 minutes any time soon though. A defensive block of 8 with Baccus, Tass and Dorrans sitting right on top of our back 5. Absolutely no avenue for attack apart from our wing backs, basically just setting up camp in front of our goal and hoping for the best. I wondered whether this formation was pre-planned, or whether Tass was warmed up  to replace Natta when Kamau unexpectedly went down. In hindsight, Cox would have been a better like for like replacement for Kamau, and given us at least a little impetus to go forward.

Does anyone think Ugarkovic may start? It's not as if he isn't match fit. He also knows CR's coaching structure/mentality from last season.

Throw him into the deep end I reckon.

Anyway, leaving soon for a feed at that Korean BBQ joint in north Parra. I'm rather excited about tonight's game. Only reason I say that is because I said it last week and we won. :)
