Thanks Mack.

It'll be open. No boos though unfortunately
Damn! I suppose I'll have to settle for a steak sandwich and a Coke.

You could always just bring your own 'coffee'

ps make sure you grab your steak sandwich reasonably early as they usually sell out not long after the halftime ends

NPL Preview: WSW v Fraser Park

1/1
It could be game of the season as we take on the in-form Fraser Park

Friday, 22 July 2016

 -

The Wanderers continue their premiership tilt against the form club of the NPL 2 on Saturday night at Blacktown Football Park.
KICK-OFF: Western Sydney Wanderers v Fraser Park. 7pm Saturday at Blacktown Football Park

Trevor Morgan’s side retained their one point lead over second placed Sydney FC despite a 3-2 loss to struggling Bankstown Berries last weekend and the Red & Black are to navigate another potential banana skin when they host a Fraser Park team in scintillating form.

The inner-west side were outright last on the competition ladder in Round 14, trailing thirteenth-placed Bankstown Berries by five points, but six wins in their last seven has seen Fraser Park climb into tenth position.

And although their finals chances would still appear remote with six games remaining, the Marrickville outfit are still in the thick of the relegation battle on the club championship ladder and after defeating Marconi in Round 20 there will be no shortage of belief that they could land another scalp in the Wanderers.

Forward Nikola Todoroski has played a vital role in the resurgence of Branko Culina’s side with seven goals in 14 matches this season and will be one for a youthful Wanderers side to marshal closely on Saturday evening, while the likes of Jordan Simpson and Benjamin Vidaic have provided crucial goals in Fraser Parks’s remarkable turnaround in form.

Hawkesbury radio have assembled a decent group of commentators.

Will be an interesting call tonight, given their lack of familiarity with our NPL2 players.

Freezing cold.....

2-0 up then RBB chimed in then3-2 down, coincidence ?

Great to see some of the boys making an effort on a cold winters night anyway

3-3, HT and I predict some drama in the second half, again we have great touch and speed

6-3. Was a good game.

WSW scored two in rapid time, Fraser Park hit back with a trio of goals, WSW equalised with a stonewall penalty minutes before half-time. Fraser Park were pissed but it was clear run across our attacker to bring him down.

Second half was all WSW. Fraser Park pressed high for 5 minutes, didn't do anything, WSW scored two in two minutes again to make it 5-3, with a late final goal for the Wanderers.

Was interesting hearing Trevor Morgans half-time team talk, the walls aren't exactly made of soundproofing, he was pretty fired up. Myself and taurus noted our attackers really tight, and he bollocked them hard wanting more discipline & structure.

Was a funny moment when the Fraser Park players were blowing up at the linesman, one of their players called him a so and so muppet. I told the lino he shouldn't take it. Ref said "he's probably right" haha.

Had to cancel plans today unfortunately. The radio crew did a pretty good job though.

Before the match started they said that only 1 of them had watched our NPL2 match before. Nek minute the commentary starts, the commentators know the name of every player on the pitch. Other than their banter, they did well.

Interesting that Trevor Morgan went off at them, they must have been woeful. The only time I've ever seen him blow up was against CCM at Valentine Park and it was nothing more than a 5 second bollocking
