While everyone was talking about Joey Gibbs being on debut, Trifiro also made his debut after coming on as a sub in the second half of the match against the Roar. Did a good job for his short stint.

I agree, His first bit of A-League football and he did very well for the time he was on. Fantastic to see!

Agreed. His little spell calmed my fears of ever loosing Ono or Mooy to injury. He will be a great option to freshn our midfield late in games.

Love to see him play vs Perth and go up against a former State team mate in Scotty Jamieson. As A/C for NSW back in '04 I thought these two were amongst our best. I was so happy for him to finally get a A-League gig! A more than capable substitute midfielder! Go Tricky!

really capable player. played very well against parramatta fc and again in his short stint against Brisbane. will be valuable when injuries and suspensions occur

Very tidy player, very happy on how he is inducting himself into the a-league.

Not sure if id compare him with Murdocca, hes full of running and explosive pace.

Trifiro is just graceful on the ball and in midfield.

He definitely plays the role of an impact player well, bringing energy to an often flatter second half. i don,t think I've seen a bad game from the kid yet.

one of the highlights of the pre-season was the link up with Jason and Aaron. I thought this combination had some real potential.

Credit to Jason, he can i only get better from here (i think)!
Mooy coming in next week should help him alot

not sure if srs

His stint at CAM was... very poor, but he plays better in the CDM role - unfortunately there's tons of talent at our club for such a position so he doesn't get much of a look in.

If Barresi & Perkatis can get fit and stay fit he might leave for another club, we're using too many squad spots on midfielders, unless we don't replace Ono with another midfielder should Ono leave.

He does everything in one speed; tortoise. Has a nice touch, but seldom if ever seen him play anything more than a standard ball. No physical presence whatsoever, bundled off the ball time and again. Movement is poor and laboured, he is often caught in possession, which, coupled with his aforementioned qualities, renders him a nothing prospect. We are better served by playing youth rather than this hack.

His performance against CC at home last season was up there as the worst I've seen from a footballer. The improvement in our play when he got sent off was a sight to behold.

No redeeming characteristics whatsoever.

That was like a year ago! He could've changed for the better since then. Pygmalion effect.

No. Terrible is as terrible does. Dreadful at MV the other week.

Trifiro is a tryer but unfortunately we lose a lot with him on the park. We lost a lot of midfield strength when La Rocca came off for him.
