It's great weather for it - if you're not doing anything else today, then head to the game!

I'll be there with my 'Lisa De Vanna looks like Alice from the Brady Bunch insults.

Is she still the subject of internal club suspension?

She should be back, read somewhere that she missed 2 games, none of which was against west sydney....

Thanks!

She must be one of the Americans.

She looks alright, haven't seen her up close, her and Demi (#14) look alright to me :)

Ok I'm back so a few words.

Disgusting refereeing, there's no way in hell those fouls should have gone unpunished (hey who do I sound like).

Prob should have been 2-2 or at worst 3-2 but 3-0 isn't a true indication of how they played.

Dunno how much 'A League' style supporting that is the norm at a W League match but when we were starting to look good I Wanderered over behind the Victory keeper to get under her skin but just felt bad and gave up lol

The signing at the end was a great idea, I went with a friend and her 4 girls - I want them growing up with role models like Michelle Carney and Hannah Beard instead of those oxygen thieving Kardashians or Miley Cyrus.

Marconi is everything I thought it'd be, weathered stands, old women playing cards inside, the smell of mothballs on some of them, a car giveaway competition in the foyer and of course it'd be an Alfa, no Nissan or Hyundai in sight, a 'disco' going on in one corner with oldies waltzing or whatever dance oldies do lol - seriously Australian football wouldn't be what it is today without those clubs so I hope they're around forever.

Loved it, can't wait to do it all over again.

Oh and there seems to be a camaraderie amongst the W League players, I saw some of Ours getting pics with Brady Bunch Alice and thought it to be pretty weird, I can't see the day where Vitor is doing the same with Berisha lol

That's not true.

You mustn't be following the right A-League players' Instagram accounts - because it's definitely a common thing that happens.

Keep in mind that many of these players played in the younger divisions together, or even internationally/ for the Matildas - and have known each other for years!

This also certainly happens frequently for our Youth side too - eg. as recently as the weekend, Kuzi had pics with his MV opponents.

I thought we all agreed after the Champions League Final, we would never, ever (for the rest of the season), complain about refereeing ever again.

Oh, and can we stop/ grow up with the name-calling, based on purely looks??

So unnecessarily catty - the game doesn't need that.

I mean, go tell her to EAD (for all those who remember that commotion haha), that's fine though!

Considering that we give Nick Carle crap for his haircut or tell Osama Malik that if you drop him in the pure waters of Tasmania you pull out NTS I would consider it sexist not to use appearance based taunts in the W-League.

Re: Carle - If it's purely on the hairstyle that's different - that's (usually) a choice someone makes.

I don't know who Malik is, so don't get that reference?

But yeah, I just don't think there's a need for blatant insults (in any of the competitions, or, well, ever!) based purely on looks.

I got banned from Instagram for sending Guangzhou fans screaming and yelling and spitting at their computer monitors.
