Thought I'd post this here

Would loved to have gone active for this

If you were keen, couldn't you just buy a W-League ticket in that area?

Edit. Just checked. You can only buy a ticket for both games. Which means there's none available in the RBB

I guess that makes sense. If the A-League ticket gives you entry into the W-League game, the RBB is sold out and if they all decide to go to the W-League game you wouldn't be able to fit anyone else in.

If they let people in the RBB for the women's game then good luck removing those extra non-members for the HAL game. Suddenly they will all get amnesia or forget how to speak English.

In by the way.

Except for law abiding citizens such as myself :meep:

Are there passouts at our games? In RBB?

There's over an hour between games. Don't fancy sitting around during that

Can I get this confirmed by someone else? RBB regular season member perhaps?

Those of us in the Red section swipe our cards to enter & exit venue

Thanks Taurus :good:

I have a ticket so maybe I'll just scan that on the way out. Pretty sure the security guys will help me sort it out.

The RBB has never misbehaved at a W-League game though right??

Just the odd pitch invasion, although our rivals to the east have shown on multiple occasions that the punishment for that offense is nothing.

0-1 to smurfs after 1 minute. Our keeper with an awful foul (got a yellow card) outside the box, didn't tip the FK over the bar, scramble in the box and it was hit home from point blank range.

1-2. 86th minute.

1-2 ft :(

who scored our goal

i think i'm in love

Less seriously, it was a bit of a disappointing game especially after the rave reviews we got last week against Brisbane where apparently we did everything except score and win. We had a few good patches, Winters is a class above everyone else and the 15 year old #15 did quite well

Also apparently some or most of the W-League side stayed on to watch the game in the Western grandstand? That was a nice touch - I wonder if the men's team reciprocated

0-2, awful defensive work from a corner.

Did anyone see the handball leading up to the second goal?

Did anyone else think that refereeing was terrible or was it just me?

I read that there is photographic evidence of said handball goal.

So frustrating!!  :nono:  :nono:

Are you ******* serious :xmad::angrycovic::crap:

It was obvious to blind freddy, I don't know how it was missed!! I also think the reaction of the WSW girls wasn't that strong either, (mind you I'm not advocating surrounding the referee & putting pressure on them) but there were at least 3 girls who saw it but didn't try & argue with the referee or AR!

Such a crucial goal too, before that second goal we had a few good attacks that came very close & then they concede a goal that never have stood. 2-0 at half time & yes they were the better side but definitely not 2-0 worth at half time.

Also a bit disappointed at the crowd, I know it felt like 40c & was bloody hot but was so keen to cheer/chant for the girls, so was really disappointed when we only have 2.5k in the stadium :(

Popa was watching (not sure if it was the whole game).

The girls definitely dominated last week against Brisbane. This week not so much.

It was extremely hot but I was hoping for a bigger crowd as well especially as the boys were on straight after.
