ManfredSchaefer Posted March 17, 2013 Share Posted March 17, 2013 I'll admit I've been one of many who have been perhaps dazzled by the work of Polenz, Hersi, Ono, Poljak, Mooy, NTS etc etc and forgotten about the captain. He's just been there as solid as a bloody rock, doing what needs to be done quietly and efficiently, no BS, no histrionics. I remember he was to some extent hard done by when he went to the Bundesliga and thought he had become a bit of a lost cause...but Nurnberg's loss (via Denmark and Heart) is our gain. Link to comment

Had my 5 year old with me, michael's dad was rightly proud to say " that 's my son" to me. Very touching moment my wife nearly shed a tear. Link to comment
