Youth League General Discussion

Yep, the ACL squad which consists of 30 players (27 outfield + 3 GKs) will be made up of the 25 contracted players (22 AL + 3) which includes Scott, Shabow, Martinez plus Youlley & Bandiera. I've adjusted AL squad numbers down by 1 to reflect that a visa player cannot be selected.

I believe Baccus Jnr has picked up one of the new 15k scholarship contracts. I assume Majok would also receive one of these. Which player(s) receive the last of these scholarships, may determine who fills the remaining ACL spots.

One or two ACL spots may also be filled by journeyman, on short term contracts.

Great game - anyone watch?

City should've been about 8-0 up at the end of the first half, they hit the bar and had last ditch clearances, eventually led 1-0.

ESFC got up 2-1, eventually got a penalty in the 81st minute and scored that, got back to 2-2.

Penalty awarded, and then scored in minute 90+11' - City win 3-2.

So, what's the deal with the Youth Leagues now? From what I can see the system was blown up and there are just the associations with teams now? Hard to understand from the FNSW website.

No still the same..

NPL youth - for NPL 1 and 2  teams

NPL 2 youth - for NPL 3 teams (and some association teams in State league - Nepean)

and the new one is the Association youth league for association teams (updated from last years regional youth conference) - Nepean, Blacktown, Macarthur, Gladesville Hornsby etc (10 teams)
