Weekender

Make: Datsun

Model: 1200 Coupe

Transmission: Manual

Year: 1972

Reason for Purchasing Car: A car I've wanted for 6 years. It's not a standard 1200. It goes, handles and stops really well, and weighs less than 900kg. It feels like driving a go kart.

Cheers mate, it's my pride and joy. My first car was a 1200 ute and I've been hooked ever since.

I love the Escort. Nothing beats a Mk 1 2 door, when I bought my 1200 I almost bought a Mk 1 2 dr. One of my best mate's was an Escort tragic and has owned both an Mk 2 Escort Panel Van (ex. Telecom car) and a granny spec Mk 1 2 door. I still regret not buying that off him when he sold it.

Piece of **** three year old Golf GTi is in the shop for 6 weeks, needs a new motor. 4 days until my Warranty ran out thank god!!

Clarkson and his "car of the year, best value for money blah blah" can kiss my arse. Never buying another European car again, their a conspiracy to fool people I tell you!!

You open the hood, who the **** knows what's in there, you can't see ****

Second hand Toyota's, Government Auctions ALWAYS, for the remainder of my life

Maybe a Camry or something if any future wife wants to get fancy on me. That's as luxurious as I'll ever get for a car again.
