IronHaggis Posted May 28, 2016 Posted May 28, 2016 So buzzed right now, not even the England v Sri Lanka test can calm me down and I'm a cricket nut. DCWSW and Alexander 2
lloydy136 Posted May 28, 2016 Author Posted May 28, 2016 Seems to be a lot of empty seats down at hull's end. What a farce of a club - should be nowhere near the top division. Hasn't been a great game so far.
IronHaggis Posted May 28, 2016 Posted May 28, 2016 Hull sell 26k for Championship playoff. Plymouth sell 33k for League 2 playoff. ******* tinpot club. Still here with you Lloydy for next season lloydy136 1
lloydy136 Posted May 28, 2016 Author Posted May 28, 2016 Unlucky IH. Fantastic support from Wednesday fans.
Smoggy Posted May 28, 2016 Posted May 28, 2016 Ah well. Wednesday had a great season. Hull i agree are a shitty club. I guess that is me done with this thread now. Will still follow closely though.
IronHaggis Posted May 28, 2016 Posted May 28, 2016 How big is it going to be next season in the Championship? Wednesday, Leeds, Derby, Forest, Villa, Newcastle and Burton Albion. MartinTyler 1
btron3000 Posted May 29, 2016 Posted May 29, 2016 How big is it going to be next season in the Championship? Wednesday, Leeds, Derby, Forest, Villa, Newcastle and Burton Albion. And all on Fox. Premier League - pffffttt. I never thought about this before, but the team that wins the Championship gets a trophy, and the team that wins the playoffs gets to walk the stairs, what does second get? Seems a bit rich that a team that comes 6th can get to walk the stairs at Wembley. You got promoted, that's your prize. You don't deserve a trophy for coming 3rd-6th. MartinTyler 1

Taurus Posted May 30, 2016 Posted May 30, 2016 I shouldn't have listened to the Will Griggs On Fire chant, coz can't get it out of my head now Wigan (Latics) fans in Last Orders pub after the Barnsley game 8-5-16 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UtaYjIkqS1A https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SPIJO2AYGew
Alexander Posted May 30, 2016 Posted May 30, 2016 (edited) It's a great chant. This is my favourite rendition http://youtu.be/7rADlgQ1rjk Edited May 30, 2016 by Alexander DinoPresinger 1
Swifty Posted May 30, 2016 Posted May 30, 2016 Wimbledon promoted to league 1. Some tasty games against MK Franchise FC next season Smoggy and Carns 2
IronHaggis Posted June 1, 2016 Posted June 1, 2016 I see Leeds have decided to halve the tax evaders and staff catering bill for next season.
lloydy136 Posted June 1, 2016 Author Posted June 1, 2016 I see Leeds have decided to halve the tax evaders and staff catering bill for next season. I reckon cellino can cover any tax evasion shortfall no problem. Half a season as manager means evans beats the current average for manager tenure by quite a bit.
lloydy136 Posted June 3, 2016 Author Posted June 3, 2016 He is right - redfearn should never have been sacked. Prydzopolis and Gazmon 2
IronHaggis Posted June 22, 2016 Posted June 22, 2016 Fixtures are out http://mobile.efl.com/fixtures/ Wednesday start off with Villa at home. Great it's being televised, but shame about the time. Gazmon 1

IronHaggis Posted July 4, 2016 Posted July 4, 2016 Wednesday have signed Steven Fletcher on a free. Pretty decent start to the transfer window for us. Prydzopolis 1
pseudonym Posted July 5, 2016 Posted July 5, 2016 Hi All Dumb question: I work with a young lady who is a Newcastle United fan. She's going to the UK on a trip and was about to buy tickets to an away game between Fulham and Newcastle I recommended that she buy a ticket in the specific away section with the other Newcastle fans Does Fulham have a "reputation" like Milwall / Leeds etc in terms of violence? I went to a few games at Fulham and it was always a fairly tame environment. That's not to say you're friend shouldn't sit with the away supporters just to be on the safe side Prydzopolis 1

MartinTyler Posted July 5, 2016 Posted July 5, 2016 Yeah Fulham is one of the safest grounds going around. Only problem I encountered when visiting Fulham many moons ago was fans of other London clubs lurrking around the Underground. pseudonym, Smoggy and Prydzopolis 3
lloydy136 Posted July 5, 2016 Author Posted July 5, 2016 Yeah agree. Polar opposite to millwall. Still wouldn't be strutting around in a Newcastle shirt in the home end though. Fulham fans are friendly but that would be pushing it. Prydzopolis, wswanderersfc and pseudonym 3
