Ha! 3 - 0 down after 25mins. Swansea should have scored 6.

Meh...I blame the EFL, FFP fiddling and a chairman that has been there so long ( since 1986) that he has lost his way. Seems like a pivotal moment in the club's history approaching..and not in a good way.

From 1986 until say 2010 he was was of the wealthiest around, a self made man from a council estate who stood as a fan on the terraces before he became rich.

The game has moved on with the billions from the Middle East, Far East and USA. His peak time was 1994 to 2007..that time was long periods in the EPL, cup finals including a run to the UEFA cup final. You can make that UEFA cup final as the start of the decline.

Now he is just another moderately wealthy business man pumping money in to just keep the club going week to week.

It's just the end of an era really...

he is exceptional at championship level, always gets his sides in at the pointy end come season's end.

expect no frills football and constant moaning at referee's assistant all game, likes giving players a bollocking, more a stick than carrot style, your chances of staying up have just improved i would say.

Remember playing his Notts County side in the play offs in 1991, we lost over two legs. I was just a kid then, shows how long he has been around the game! Hopefully he keeps us up, don't care how so long as he does.

Warnock era starts with a solid 2-0 win away to Stoke.

More confident of staying up. But big game at Hull next up...win that and we would be in a good place.

you guys will be safe, right man right place right time, i also fancy Luton doing a Lazarus Nathan Jones back there after his Stoke debacle.

Would be nice to see a little club like Brentford go up at the end season (beat Cardiff in playoffs would be nice), share the love for the smaller clubs i say.

I can see Brentford getting an automatic place at the expense of WBA. Hopefully Cardiff get nowhere near !!

No with  Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch FC

Although I have always though being an Airbus UK FC fan might be cool.

The bubble had to burst, too many clubs sailing close to the wind financially it seems, maybe the lower leagues are heading back to regional semi professional (though i doubt it) but clubs will be looking at their budgets and turnovers more severely now that's for sure, buying a star striker on big bucks has always been a gamble but more prudent scouting buys and home grown talent is the way forward atm.

who'd want to be a professional footballer these days.....
