Eastern Stand BLACK MEMBERSHIPS

Recommended Posts

Greetings to all in this stand..many of you were there last year and there are many who have relocated, (like me and our 13 family members) Last year we sat in BAY 63,,white members..(lot of wogs really, not many white people)..but the atmosphere there was amazing, we really got into supporting the RBB, and I was amazed with the active support above us as well. This year we join those upstairs and hope to continue providing a special style of support in that area..We are all located in BAY 24 this year and I was wanting to extend my best wishes for the year to those that are in or near BAY24..I hope to engage many of you with active support, beer, conversation (pre/post game, of course)..Perhaps we can co-ordinate more with the RBB and really provide an expansive active support experience..

Anyone know the couple of nutters that get up and try to rev up the crowd in Bay 25?

Thats what im talkin about...Bay 24/25 started the RBB RBB RBB chant after the protest..big things for here this year...Those guys are awesome, with all the body paint...I think dressing up in as much crap you can is great..That first home game will be pretty special this year.

I come on here from time to time and saw this thread when it first started. I hesitated admitting I sat in Bay 66 because  for all of last season and now this one because I am that big mouth that never sits down and carries on like an idiot. But, especially this season, I'm not the odd one out LOL

Mate I was in 66 last year, and we missed half of every game because we were in stitches at the s*** you yelled out. I'm not there anymore but keep it up  :good:

This quote is laced with so much self doubt and self esteem issues. I'm going to give you a little pick me up!

1. You never were the odd one out because I was yelling in Bay 65 from day one. We're in this together.

2. You're not an idiot. Don't degrade yourself. Be proud of who you are and what you say (even if it's 100% vulgar) Degradation of the soul/self is a topic they discuss at East Sydney FC over a half soy/half skim orange latte mocha frappacchino. Wanderers are beyond that *(picture related below)

3. If you got something to say, stand up and say it.

4. Passion is not a crime.

I'll tell you a story my WanderBro:

At the last match at Parramatta Stadium last season (Brisbane Roar final) My wife and I were running a tad late. We got into the stadium 5 minutes before kick off (We like getting there earlier to sink and get angry) Anyway, as we're shuffling through the row to our seats I hear

"Here he is! We thought you'd never come!"

About 10 of these Greek boys who sat and still sit behind me started clapping, cheering, high fiving and start groping me like a celebrity me upon my entrance. Because they started clapping, the whole bay and others starts clapping a cheering (herd mentality at it's finest). As I get to my seat the guy and his son behind me gives me a shoulder massage and tells me I'm glad I made it. Even the people in front turn around and tell me what a wonderful season they've had and look forward to next season to come.

- 90% of everything that came out of my mouth that season was obscene filth.

- Deep down inside people love that crazy guy

- My wife hates me telling that story because she says my ego is massive as it is

Many good times in bay 66. Had two friends sign up in the off season, but they had to sit together in 67 because my mate and I weren't willing to relinquish our seats in the middle of 66 to sit together  :cheeky:

Do you wear the Mooy jersey in the back row by any chance?

No truer statement has ever been texted! From an outsider who doesn't understand football the Bay 60s region would be a shocking wasteland. But the guys over on our side of the stadium are so well in tune with what is happening on the pitch that when we feel disgruntled with either poor refereeing, horrible tackles or if we just feel like we could make an impact to the game in some way we just jump up and start swearing and get angry to try and and alter the referees decisions.

You can even see and hear it on the telecast. When I've re-watched games on the telecast and I've re-seen the various incidents that happen on our side of the stadium. We all jump up and make as much noise as possible. If you ever re-watch a game, keep a special eye out for the brief periods you get to see us react. It'll blow you away!

On that note ...

If the entire stadium was filled with the kind of people from Bay 64 - Bay 67 they would televise two different matches:

1. Regular live viewing at 6pm. No on pitch microphones would available and the only sound you would hear is directly from a commentators telephone line in a sound proof room located on the top of the stadium.

2. On pitch microphones become available, and delayed telecast is a must. It would be Rated R 18+ and be shown on SBS Two at 1 am in the morning on a Saturday/Sunday night. Followed by a european pornography.

I would love to get something going to encapsulate our intelligent/abusive culture in the bay 60s region. Not like the Corner Post Crew, but sort of what they got going over at Bay 49, just a simple banner. But with some bad a** motto.

@Gazmon- no I dont wear the Mooy shirt. For some reason (well its bcos im so bloody superstitious) I will only customise away or 3rd strips.

@MickIsNot- thanks for the pick me up.

Im loving the Bay 60s Love. I havent brought it out this season, but I will be bringing my Pride of Sydney banner soon. It will prob be at MV game- but I like the idea of a ref to Bay 66 or even more general like the east terrace... Maybe Eastern Active Terrace -Mental Edition (E.A.T-M.E) LOL

I remember there were some suggestions on this forum of a possible pull over in the eastern terrace (given the ban in the home end due to flares etc).

I would love to make this happen- even more so if it happened at Derby 5... Does anyone know whether someone from the RBB approached the club about making this happen?

Bay 60s

E.A.T. - M.E.

East Active Terrace - Mental Edition
Watch Out!

If we could achieve:

- A banner to hung before games in the bay 60s region

- Better sync with the RBB cross stadium chants

- Continual education for Bay 60s (sound like a school teacher lol)

Last season the RBB tried a few times to get cross stadium chants with "City we own" which I was disappointed when it didn't amount to anything. I think anything to get total stadium involvement is a great idea! I also feel that anything with cross stadium involvement with the RBB will spill over into the Western Sydney Wanderers marches and our away games because it will give people better motivation to know the lyrics to the chants.

In the EPL there's a section at Emirates Stadium (Arsenals Home Ground) where the guys are known to be as rough as guts and they spew out at bad, moderate or even correct linesman calls. They have a tendency to sway decisions and are known for it! You can't publicly say these things, but if we could "sway" or gently "Persuade" the linesman into making the "100% accurate decision" is always good.
